Climate Change: The Solution

It´s so simple. Why is everyone making such a fuss when Caroline Lucas knows exactly what we need to do to solve climate change and assuage Gaia?

Yet not far away a very different kind of protest sprang up, as a flash mob of climate campers closed a street for 12 hours in order to highlight what can be achieved if we focus creatively on solutions, as well as problems.
Bunting, spring flowers, a farmer’s market stall selling cake and vegetables, workshops and a pedal powered sound system. These all combined to ensure that the camp set up outside the carbon exchange on Bishopsgate was an example of workable alternatives to the capitalism and environmental destruction that have got us into our current economic and ecological mess.

Job done, see?

Why can´t people see how easy it all is?

What? Markets? Trading? People making things and selling them?

    That’s an outrage!

Flowers!!! How ridiculously “throw away” society is that!

  2. I’m still trying to get my head around the concept of Madeleine Bunting being offered for sale on a farmers market stall next to the minted lamb chops ….

Do you suppose they shoved an apple in her mouth?

  3. It’s as good a solution to climate change as any other proposed, given that there is neither man made climate change nor problems arising from any kind of climate change.

Besides, there are bound to be hippie chicks at events like these.
