What goes around comes around

On Henry Ford and his $5 a day wages.

So Don shouts at a newspaper and references an old post that I\’d done on the same subject. Round and round we go as I point you to Don\’s post.

Great comment there though:

Boeing has, apparently, decided that it\’s okay if employees cannot afford the product they are producing.

Much like BAe Systems. In both cases, this is a fact for which I think we can all be truly thankful.

  2. Actually in a sense they can afford Boeing’s products. At least the utility of them. They can afford to fly places can’t they?

  3. NickM – but this is true of nearly everything in a market economy. Eg, even if someone doesn’t own a car they still can benefit from it indirectly, say by tradespeople being able to get to their house with the needed tools faster, or cheaper food because the farmer has a tractor.
