Quote of the Day

I’ll continue to enjoy Lennon’s music.  But his political ‘philosophy’ is to human enlightenment what, say, a rock concert by Milton Friedman would have been to human entertainment.

  1. I dunno. I think the world would be a better place if we all spent more time on boats on rivers, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies.

  2. Marmalade skies sounds like the aftermath of a pretty horrific industrial incident. That or a very odd metaphor for the aftermath of dropping a nuke somewhere.

Either way I think I’ll give it a miss thanks, though I do now quite fancy a tangerine so it’s not a complete loss.
