Why? Surely this is entirely predictable? Is ordinary every day fathering so rare these days that it is a surprise when we see it?
Besides, willful ignorance is rarely an interesting position to take. I admire his loyalty to his “real” father, but his position is basically that he does not want to know. He could say that and why in two sentences. It does not advance the conversation at all. It does not help anyone to understand the whys.
