Questions at FCA blog we can answer

Of course, we\’ve pointed out Ritchie\’s error to him before. But still he persists in peddling his drivel. So what exactly has he got against charitable donations?

It\’s people spending their own money as they wish. Should be the State and the State alone as the source of all good things.

You know, voluntary cooperation might actually solve a problem or two and then where would the State be if people could do that?

  1. When people give money to charities, they exercise choice, they discriminate between genuine active philanthropic organisations, and the myriad lobby groups who pose as charities, but exist on government grants, promoting lefty dogma. Given a choice, the public support the former, and scorn the latter. No wonder statists hate public choice.
