Given just about all my acquaintances and friends would consider themselves green and basically they are good people, I can only put their faith in a planned economy (don’t want no neo-liberal crap, do we?) down to total ignorance and a sort of woolly-minded localised selfishness.
Underneath it all, they keep poor people poor and hungry, arrest the development of poorer nations, increase illness and death, increase pollution and crash our own economy. ¡Casi nada!
