Guardian journalists, eh? Tsk

Athens-born Pryce said she met Huhne in 1982, a year after her first marriage ended, and, despite her having \”second thoughts\” and breaking off their engagement, they married a year later.

At that time he was a journalist at the Guardian, she said, with aspirations in politics.

Forcing wives into an abortion, perverting the course of justice.

Modern day liberalism is just so admirable, isn\’t it?

  1. Aye but living with that fiend, who oozed mental putrescence, it would be an unendurable nightmare, one would not be able to resist catching some taint.

    But you make your bed…

  2. Not to mention his role in the wind farm scam that is forcing up electricity prices, killing jobs and pensioners. It must be his great big liberal heart.

  3. I used to have sympathy for Mrs Huhne. But then I heard the screechy tapes played in court, found out she was shagging MacShane and realised she was from east of the Rhine.

Now I am of the opinion that the entire family should just have been carpet bombed.

  4. I don’t know if there really is a Chinese saying: if you set out on revenge, first dig two graves, but Mrs Huhne seems to be proving it correct.

  5. Most families offer love and support to each other. But there are some “families” who are no more than a collection of turds who float in the same toilet. It is no suprise that Huhne would be part of such a group.

    ^^This.

Actually, I’m not bothered about her being from east of the Rhine. Although if you’re a greek, try not to engage in massivel pyrrhic revenge. It’s a bit like a frenchman surrendering on a bicycle in an onion necklace, or a Schweizer eating a toblerone as he tidies up the nazi gold under his cuckoo clock. That level of self-stereotype is just undignified.

  7. To quote the late Auberon Waugh:

‘It occurs to me that the Liberal Democrats have little in common with the old Loberal Party… they are bossier, as well as more stupid…. Than any political party yet devised…. ‘

Goddamn smartphone – I think in the case of Huhne ‘Strongarm’ (the UK into the EU!) and most definitely underhand tactics would be his stock in trade….
