Of course it is. We have done so in Britain. There is not really any poverty in the UK. At least none worth mentioning (you like, among the mentally ill, the immigrant communities and the like). All they did was redefine poverty.
They will do the same on a global scale. Poverty will turn out being longer than a six hour drive from Twickenham or something.
