  1. Greebo did it the hard way – there were a lot of other male cats around. When the bear population is so small, it is very easy for one single male to dominate.

    I expect the Spanish bear population is a lost cause. Even if the locals don’t shoot them, the population is so small that they will be very inbred whatever they do. But here’s hoping.

    Open the Spanish brown bear up to legal hunting & soon they will be overrun with ’em!
