So they’re monstering Jim Jepps now, are they?

Ms Bennett has been dating Mr Jepps for five years

Right…..

He quit the Socialist Workers Party in around 2003 and later joined the Greens.

So he’s an idiot then, SWPers always are.

In one post, seen by MailOnline, he joked that gay sex is not a sin ‘unless you do it really well or claim it on expenses’.

A J.O.K.E.

Not a great one, but mildly amusing perhaps.

In 2007, he tackled a news story about demands for music books written by a paedophile to be withdrawn, because the recorder lessons were used to groom victims.

Mr Jepps wrote: ‘We can burn these books as a public statement against the author (who is in jail for his crimes) or try to understand that whatever monstrous acts individuals commit they are still complex human beings for all that.

‘Good, evil, interesting and banal by turns – not devils who can taint everything they touch with evil.’

Err, yes, like when a SWPer can make an interesting point about the way that humans are complex and that some bits and output can be good, others bad. We all acknowledge this which is why we haven’t destroyed all of Eric Gill’s work.

According to the Sunday Mirror another posting included: ‘New Poll: Sex with pupils – good idea/bad idea? Personally I’m ambivalent and would appreciate any guidance.

‘It seems to me the sex offenders register is a sledgehammer to crack a nut sometimes. When you have a teacher who kissed a 17-year-old placed on the same register as Gary Glitter it does make you wonder how useful the list is, no matter how creepy that teacher might be.’

Quite so.

I do wonder sometimes what the Mail would say about me if they found this blog…..

  1. I doubt the Mail are outraged – just trying to put a little fragmentation into the Green/SNP/Plaid ranks I assume.

  2. Now there’s a delicious irony:

Couple met in 2010 after she contacted him to complain about a blogpost

  3. Jepps wants to control your life so to an extent he’s fair game. It’s a shame that the Mail doesn’t do shades of grey but then Jepps sells badges with the legend “UKIP vermin – Back in the sewer” which suggests that neither does he on some matters.

I personally am tired of watching people take part in a UFC fight while adhering to the Queensbury rules.

They may end up with a slight feeling of moral superiority but they will lose, and in the losing it’s looking increasingly like they’ll take western civilisation down with them.

So fuck Jepps, and his horse, and his bird, and cry me a river while I apply some resin to the strings of the world’s smallest violin.

  4. We all acknowledge this which is why we haven’t destroyed all of Eric Gill’s work.

In fairness to Eric Gill, it was only decades afterwards that he was revealed to be both in an incestuous relationship with his child and a sexual relationship with his dog.

His works, especially at the BBC are both beautiful and also, given what we know of his perversions, very apt. Let them remain where they are to shine down on those who enter the hallowed halls of the BBC for evermore.

SEX, SCANDIUM, AND SQUIRRELS: Inside the crazy world of UKIP’s real-life Auric Goldfinger.

  6. apply some resin to the strings of the world’s smallest violin.

Pendantry alert, but the rosin is applied to the violin bow. It gets on the strings too, but only as a secondary effect.

  7. I vaguely remember a campaign in the Evening Standard, about 15 years ago, to get Eric Gill’s art removed from Westminster Cathedral.

  8. A genuine paedo (ie one who actually fiddles little kids as opposed to being accused of fiddling them on zero evidence beyond unsupported claims) altho’ evil, is arguably not as evil as a man who wants and acts to bring about universal socialist tyranny. And then decides he also wants human life rolled back to the filth, poverty and misery of ages-happily-gone by. In a sane society these actions would mark Jepps as an evildoer more dangerous than any paedo. They aim to hurt a small number of children. Jepps and his kind want to fuck up the lives of the entire world including all kids everywhere.

  9. “it does make you wonder how useful the list is”

Judge to defendant: “We have found you guilty of horrendous crimes against nature. We are going to put your name on a list.”

Judge to bailiff: “There, we fixed that problem.”

  10. @BiW I’ll take your word for it – my knowledge of violins is limited to leaving the house whenever my sister picked up hers, many years ago!

  11. Friend getting married soon told me DJ had a won’t play list includes Rolf Harris, Gary Glitter and Oliver’s Army by Elvis Costello. He said Micheal Jackson Ok though : no hard evidence.

  12. Gamecock, I think the question here (or there) was whether kissing a 17 year old is an horrendous crime against nature or just kind of, you know, normal.

  13. Ian B – “I think the question here (or there) was whether kissing a 17 year old is an horrendous crime against nature or just kind of, you know, normal.”

I think Ironman will spare us some time from Comment is Free to tell us all precisely how unacceptably homophobic that question is.

It tells you how screwed modern Britain is that the official Establishment makes a watermelon refugee from the Socialist Workers Party look like a voice of reason.

  14. GlenDorran – “???”

Shhh! Don’t say anything. He was starting to sound like a half decent DJ.

  15. I have to say, for once I agree with PaulB.

Teachers shouldn’t really be snogging the kids.

That said, I’d be happy for it to be (post 16) a contractual matter: you will not snog the kids, or you’ll be sacked.

I can’t quite understand why it should be criminal for a 25-year-old teacher to do stuff with a 17-year-old that is not criminal for a 50-year-old non teacher. The age of consent is the age of consent, to me.

  16. PaulB-

The issue is not about “okay”, but whether it’s in the against nature category. Like a doctor and patient, or priest and parishioner, etc.

What about, for instance, university lecturer and student? Not entirely unknown.

  17. Interested-

Well, because the Feminists would like to extend “paedophile” to 18. 16 sticks in their craw. So the current legislation is a halfway house to that.

  18. Ian B – “The issue is not about “okay”, but whether it’s in the against nature category. Like a doctor and patient, or priest and parishioner, etc. What about, for instance, university lecturer and student? Not entirely unknown.”

How is any of those against nature? It certainly looks a lot like it is in women’s natures to like men in authority over them. Teachers are a natural target of school girls – in part because it is probably safe-ish to do so. They are playing with their teacher. But also because they like men in positions of authority.

Priests are just as much a target of young Catholic women. They play a not-insignificant part in romance literature.

And psychiatrists are taught that it is natural and even inevitable for their female patients to fall in love with them. After all they do sit there and listen to said women complain for hours on end.

We need to ban these things because they are too easy and even inevitable. Not because they are a crime against nature.

  19. SMFS-

You’ve misunderstood me. I gave those examples as things we consider undesirable, but not against nature.

  20. @Glendorran. it was because of the line “one less white nigger”. Yes I shudder too. The DJ just must hear a word and go… you can’t have that.

  21. A “breach of trust” may be the better expression.

Teachers and Doctors are in a position to take advantage of pupils and patients. Doctors, don’t forget, can even instruct their patients to take their clothes off, an advantage not even enjoyed by the likes of the Rolling Stones.

  22. I heard plenty of school gossip from my two adolescent daughters: the more attractive young teachers are often objects of contestation in the brutal battles of female oneupmanship, in an age when boundaries are routinely erased and teachers encourage informality. My girls school possessed but one male teacher, in his late sixties, deaf with angina, anyone younger would have been prey.

  23. @Hallowed Be:

Ah, I thought Mr Costello had fallen into the Yewtree net.

Kraftwerk better watch out: their hate anthem Trans Europe Express is on the hitlist of the gender warriors.

  24. Anyone who could regularly wake up beside (let alone pleasure) Natalie Bennett must be desperate or partially sighted. As for Natalie, the history of the company she keeps might suggest she has totalitarian leanings.

  25. @GlenDorran
The wider point being that applies from living doll to the ring cycle you can love the art without loving the artist.

  26. By the way, this appears to have kicked off with Guido Fawkes, the thoroughly-ex libertarian and former organiser of drug-fuelled raves attended by vulnerable underage children.

  27. Does this go some way to explaining the SWPers relaxed attitude to raping their own female members?
