Will Hutton is odd, isn’t he?

Meanwhile Ukip promotes a meaner, more right-wing English nationalism that is attractive to some of the left-behind older English working class in the midlands and north.

English nationalism is bad you see.

Foreign companies will plunder our national jewels.

But we must be nationalists.

The real puzzler here is that Hutton wouldn’t even recognise the contradiction if you pointed it out to him.

  1. After a while, it simply becomes impossible to conclude that some people are anything other than deeply stupid. Hutton’s stupidity manifests itself in false profundity and relentless grabbing of the wrong end of sticks. Mongbiot’s version is self-regard coupled with misanthropy. Toynbee is just a fucking moron.

  2. “Only in Scotland has a party managed to represent what the British want….”. Ffs the point of the Gaelic socialists slaughtering the Southron ones, being the Scots no longer wish to be British. The cognitive dissonance is great within this one.

  3. Will Hutton and the rest of your miserable left wing pick pocketeers:

Lesson one, everyone should apprise themselves of one basic fact – governments don’t have any money.

Lesson two, mainly though not exclusively, small and medium business through, innovation, enterprise and trade generates income. [I ain’t gonna mention ‘invisibles’]

Lesson three, redistributing taxes by splurging it on public sector salaries does not, repeat not ‘generate money’ – in most circumstances mostly it bleeds money out of the economy. Example, if efficiency indicators are any mark, most, if not everyone working in the public sector uses recreational proscribed substances – Asian gangs dominate the distribution network, this taxpayer funded money immediately disappears out of the country – thus there can be no multiplier effect. In fact the £billions, very generous benefits paid to many minorities, and due to the ever so convenient amnesia brought on via the disease of Political Correctness – the unrecognized but extensive dual economy, it never sees its way back into the ‘real’ economy, it is sent abroad or, goes into property, foreign landlords and hoarded jewellery.

    Here endeth today’s lessons.

Ah, you know just like banging your head on a brick wall, but will it ever stop, not according to Will it won’t.

Never did Labour more need a compelling vision to counter these challenges along with leaders able to sell it. Ed Miliband could not do it. The vision he was reaching for is what the country needs and for which there is an electoral majority – a new One Nation politics of social justice, a progressive, inclusive capitalism and a strong public infrastructure.

    My bold.

Dear God, it’s a repeat and on a loop: they really don’t get it – do they?

  4. “Dear God, it’s a repeat and on a loop: they really don’t get it – do they?”

Let’s hope that carries on. The longer it last the longer they are unelectable.

  5. “Never did Labour more need a compelling vision…One Nation politics of social justice, a progressive, inclusive capitalism and a strong public infrastructure.”
Remove all the epithets and what is left? Immense power in the hands of an (increasingly hereditary) elite to tax and regulate. Social engineering for feudalistic reactionaries.
And please, let’s leave vision to the experts-the prophets.

  6. “Let’s hope that carries on. The longer it last the longer they are unelectable.”

If they drop the socialist bullshit they might be electable. But then they wouldn’t be socialists anymore.

If BlueRinse fixes the postal vote and the boundaries ZaNu will have small chance of a comeback. Last time it was the Lib-Dems that stopped him–so we are supposed to believe. He has no such excuse this time.

As for the SNP BlueBalls should start by informing the Caviar-faced Hag that a raft of her gangs policies will not be financed by our tax money ie-anti-chanting, a commissar for every child, the North British revival of the ID database. etc. That would be a kick in the teeth for the smug cow and indicate to Scots exactly what kind of Stalinist scum they are supporting.

  7. Has anyone kept a scoresheet on the Red Princes? I know Straw’s boy lost, and Kinnock’s won. What about t’others?

  8. I don’t suppose the Socialist Nationalist Partei will have much time for the absurd Murphers.

  9. dearieme – “Has anyone kept a scoresheet on the Red Princes? I know Straw’s boy lost, and Kinnock’s won. What about t’others?”

    Emily Benn lost.
