Oooooh, I dunno

Throwing sex toys ‘wrong image’ for New Zealand

Given the reported sex life of one of this blog’s New Zealand based readers it sounds just about right actually.

  1. Yet another politician who doesn’t get that it has nothing to do with their country but the fact that everyone, worldwide, in their business, is a cunt.

  2. Off topic, if anyone wants to listen to my favorite local group The Clarks Hey You> is a good listen. In fact any video you can find of the Mr Smalls show is worth the time in my opinion. I trust the British to value the importance of a blue sky. BBL sober to discuss the beer scale 😉

  3. Talking of international news and culture: I see the beeb is reporting that Guernsey is too islamophobic to accept migrants.

    Wow.

  4. Talking of international news and culture: I see the beeb is reporting that Guernsey is too islamophobic to accept migrants.

Can someone get Guernsey’s Foremost Social Justice Warrior on that right away?

  5. “”It’s appalling because that image has gone around the world and there are now people in countries all over the world saying the way New Zealanders theoretically commemorate or celebrate their national day is with a senior politician having a sex toy thrown at them,” Key said.”

I’d like to see proof that Key said. Children sometimes write like this, but not past the age of 8 or so.

    Besides which:

    1) It is said that Key stayed away through fears of violence. It is then claimed that he describes this as a “family event”.

    2) If an event is too dangerous for the PM to attend, someone lobbing a dildo seems fairly mild.

    It’s all bollocks.

  6. @ Dennis, I’m assuming that this happened whilst he was on his recent holiday.

Arnauld, conscience of a principality. Or is it a protectorate?

  7. In Ohio we don’t throw sex toys at trainloads of sexual predators.

We throw lead at them… Mostly 45 cal. and 9mm. I see enough women at the pistol range that there would probably a fair whack of .380 flying around as well.

You’d never see Cologne happen in the USA… Too many CCW permits and ass pocket pistols. Which, by the way, the wogs here are quite well aware of.

The event (Waitangi Day) is not too dangerous for the PM to attend. He’s well surrounded by minders.

He’s not going because they won’t let him speak. And what is the point of going somewhere, as a politician, if you can’t say anything to your public? Sit there and be berated without right of reply? I wouldn’t go to any function like that either.

The violence, if there is any, will be between policemen and protesters. Let them hit each other, I say.

  9. Bloke in Lower Hutt

It’s a good job the sex toy was lobbed by a woman and hit a male politician, I doubt the same light hearted banter would have ensued if it had been the other way round.

  10. So Much For Subtlety

John Square – “Might be a good idea- let some of that excess sexual energy out”

Perhaps we could ask Rusty or Frances to comment on the cultural enrichment this ten year old boy endured? We have to accept this sort of thing because ….. Imperialism? Whiteness? What?

  11. Kevin.. What I don’t like about that one ( and yes, it’s gone viral) is the tone of “the Russkies can do it right” versus “EU-ians haven’t got the balls” .

I very much doubt you can feel up any girl against her will in a club/pub in “EU” europe and get away with it, unless you very carefully planned your escape, or use mob tactics like in Köln.

And yes, violence is illegal, which is why *no-one knows anything* when things are .. corrected.. if such a putative case would have ever happened.
Because it doesn’t, and your friendly, and suddenly appropriately thick, neighbourhood Officer of the Law cannot pretend Nothing Happened if there’s evidence on Social Media.

Grikath – “I very much doubt you can feel up any girl against her will in a club/pub in “EU” europe and get away with it, unless you very carefully planned your escape, or use mob tactics like in Köln.”

European clubs have been calling for bans because our new vibrant and diverse friends have been doing just this. They do it and they get away with it. Modern Western men are simply too emasculated to do a damn thing about it.

  13. It’s a case of YMMV.. In the “massive clubs/events” ( at least the ones I’ve been in/crewed in as “event support”) … there’s no way.. simply no way to stop these things from happening, but those are, and have always been notorious for such things, even before they let anyone “non-White” in…
There’s the sheer logistics of a packed crowd of 100’s, if not couple 1000 to deal with, with how many Security staff? With the Customers hopped up on Whatever.. Sheer Nightmare..
And those get into the news..

Your average local farmboy on his binge after the Harvest? Now there’s one to keep an eye on.. But *those* get solved…locally.. and don’t ever get in the news.

  14. Bloke in Costa Rica

Grikath, if you think the rozzers in the UK would have turned the same blithely Nelsonian eye to a spot of backstreet justice being meted out against some gropey enrichers then you must have been cryogenically frozen some time around 1948 and just thawed.

  15. BiCR, If you’re stupid enough to do it right in front of said rozzers, you can hardly expect them to ignore it, right? All they see is a street fight/mugging going on, and react accordingly..

And I dunno about ’48.. The bulk of my visits to the UK were from the mid-80’s as a Youf, throughout the 90’s up to the early noughties. And none of those in or near London, unless you count travelling through it as fast as you can as “visiting”.
