  1. That article could be fisked six ways from Sunday. For example, of the great list of crazy things that Republicans believe about the Obama administration, at least half are true. But here’s a particularly choice excerpt:

“Imagine if Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders or any other Democrat had encouraged Russia to interfere with the election to undermine the process in order to favor [sic] their candidacy.”

We don’t have to imagine. Ted Kennedy did exactly that and absolutely nothing happened. There was no media outcry, and to this day virtually no-one in the US is even aware of this.

  2. Charitable donations for access, that’s outrageous, no democratic politician has ever done anything so egregious.

Bottom line: the Russians, or discontented democrats, or some spotty nerd, could have hacked away to their hearts content, it could only make a difference if the content of the emails was seriously dodgy.

  3. BiCR – it’s too beautiful to fisk. It’s like a perfectly carved ice sculpture of clownworld social justice butthurt, delusion and projection.

It’s like a guy who shot his parents, tearfully demanding leniency because he’s an orphan. You could argue, but that would be missing the point.

Orwell is over-cited, but the bugger was right. Except the SJW Inner Party aren’t as stoic as O’Brien, they’re feeble crybullies with blue hair and problem glasses.

    Islam is Peace
    Slavery is Freedom
    Diversity is Strength

I’m loving the Russians-under-the-beds conspiracy theories (while they simultaneously cry about “fake news”) though. The Left has learned nothing from Brexit, Trump, or the Italian referendum. 2016 has injured their amour-propre, but 2017 is waiting to shove a vinegar-drenched bastard sword up their she-wees.

  4. The idea that these fuckers can accuse anyone of being traitorous is beyond rich. They’ve spent decades trying to overthrow the west.

  5. I noticed the charge that

His sons, Eric and Donald Jr., were involved in a scheme (since withdrawn) that looked a lot like an attempt to sell access to his administration through million-dollar “charity” donations.

    Clinton Foundation anyone?

    The rest was rubbish too.

  6. ‘President-elect Donald Trump is a traitor.’

that’s what the article says, bold as brass. A statement of fact (note the full stop at the end).
I hope they have deep pockets.

  7. TIS

    “clownworld social justice butthurt”

That touched a nerve with me, so to speak, given that the piles have just flared up again, just before fvcking Christmas too.

The remedy, I find, it to apply Germaloids to the affected parts, and to imbibe copious amounts of neat vodka and malt whisky.

  8. I love the implication that Trump bought the presidency by outspending Clinton if you count all the ‘free’ advertising he had.
Personally if he did manage to generate $5billion of free advertising then that sounds like a good reason to give him the job.

  9. “I hope they have deep pockets”

They have George Soros’ pocket, deep enough.

“I love the implication that Trump bought the presidency by outspending Clinton if you count all the ‘free’ advertising he had.”

Let me guess – they didn’t add Clinton’s “free advertising” to her spend.

  10. “Let me guess – they didn’t add Clinton’s “free advertising” to her spend.”

Or the free anti-trump advertising the alphabet soup did on her behalf…

But no, the new narrative is that the Media gave Trump a free pass. I guess they weren’t watching the same election I was then…

  11. ‘It has also been reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally directed this espionage operation.’

    Where? Salon?

Will this ‘Russia Hacked’ be Obama’s last strawman, or will he spend his retirement creating more?

No one has ever told us what is alleged to have happened. Did the Russians mess with voting machines, or did they mess with the count? Or is there some new definition of hack that no one knows but them?

  12. Maybe the Russian hackers stopped the American hackers desperate to stop the rise of hitler from hacking the election machines thereby ensuring a fair election, afterall the US takes part in ensuring fair elections in other parts of the world so why shouldn’t the Russians

  13. I thought the SJWs had abolished the concept of treason.

Yunno, E.M. Forster as their north pole. No borders. One humanity.

Who knew there are nations, with interests?

  14. The extent of the Russians’ corrupting of the election seems to have been limited to exposing how the Democrats were corrupting the election. This, of course, is begging the question that it was the Russkies that dumped the DNC’s and Podesta’s internal emails to WikiLeaks and not, say, a disaffected BernieBro with his ringpiece smarting at how the ridiculous old socialist coot had been stitched up by Clinton, Wasserman Schultz, Pelosi etc..

  15. But BiCR, none of what you describe is hacking. Even if the Russians gave Wikileaks the emails, that is still not hacking the election.

BWTM . . . we are told that Hillary won the popular vote by a wide margin. So obviously the hacking (sic) failed.

  16. Well, no, Gamecock. If you check you will see that the word ‘hack’ does not appear in my comment. However, if someone got into Podesta’s email via phishing, that does count as a hack (in its vernacular form; as a software engineer I use the word to mean an accomplished piece of programming, although I admit I’m fighting a losing battle there.)

  17. I believe that the accusation against Russia is twofold

    – they naughtily obtained Hillary Inc emails, and provided them to WikiLeaks
    – they spend hundreds of dollars feeding or creating fake news allegedly with the intent of advantaging Trump, or disadvantaging Hillary

To the best of my knowledge, these are accusations; there doesn’t seem to be any published information (not that I’ve looked very hard). I have seen no accusations that they interfered with the formal machinery of voting (voting machines, stuffing ballots etc) – this seems to be a speciality of Detroit, though.

Since we know that spending money buys elections (as we all know, Hillary spent much less than Trump, which is clearly why she lost; and the Koch brothers are frequently accused of ‘buying elections’ when they’ve spent some of their own moolah supporting candidates hither and yon that they approve of) it is completely inconceivable that any propagandizing the Russians did had any effect – unless they actually spent billions of dollars, and I’d expect to see some trace of that.

  18. – “The extent of the Russians’ corrupting of the election seems to have been limited to exposing how the Democrats were corrupting the election.”

    Well, quite.

As comedian Rob Schneider says, blaming the Russians for losing the election is like blaming the hotel room for getting caught with a prostitute.

  19. “The idea that these fuckers can accuse anyone of being traitorous is beyond rich. They’ve spent decades trying to overthrow the west.”

    SJWs always project.

The Cucks made a big mistake when they failed to hold mass treason trials for Soviet agents in the West after the USSR fell. They should have rounded up all the KGB records and arrested everyone who was working for them.
