But he doesn’t have to matey

The plan Mr. Trump announced on Wednesday does none of these things. As expected, he continues to refuse to release his tax returns, even though many of his cabinet nominees will have to disclose theirs in order to get confirmed by senators skeptical of, among other things, foreign business entanglements.

He refused to do so before the election. People still voted for him.

And that’s it.

  1. Oh, go on Murphatollah..

Criticise Trump for not releasing his tax returns whilst defending not releasing your own tax returns.

I just KNOW you can do it.

  2. Stew in defeat for 4 years you idiots. The Senate starts to repeal Obamacare, and you whine that Trump won’t release his taxes. Brilliant!

  3. This from the people who found no potential conflicts of interest between Hillary Clinton, The Clinton Foundation, and just about every sleazy authoritarian government the Third World has to offer.

  4. I’m sure that Trump will get right on to releasing his tax returns the moment Barry releases his college transcripts.

  5. Wasn’t Trump a ‘birther’. I guess some of you are too, considering the general rhetoric.

Which is worse; tax returns or birth certificate?

  6. Wasn’t Trump a ‘birther’. I guess some of you are too, considering the general rhetoric.

    To answer your questions:

    Yeah, he was.

Yeah, you’d be stupid enough to assume that, wouldn’t you?

  7. The birth certificate is actually relevant for deciding whether a person is eligible to be POTUS. A tax return is not. Urolagnia rules!

  8. I suspect that Obama was born in Hawaii. It’s a pity that there isn’t a non-forged birth certificate to support my suspicion. What on earth can it be on the real birth certificate that he’s so keen to hide?

  9. Hawaii amends or amended birth certificates in cases of adoption (sorry, I can’t find original source I read this). His original birth certificate may show he was adopted by his mother’s second husband, making him both Indonesian and Muslim. This would raise awkward questions as to whether he studied in the US as a foreign citizen, formally renounced his second citizenship, renounced Islam.

” What on earth can it be on the real birth certificate that he’s so keen to hide?”

Nothing, it’s just a useful squirrel that keeps attention away from the things he does want to hide. I’m sure none of them are earth shattering, other than being evidence that directly and painfully refutes his ‘smartest guy in the room’ persona.

  11. DM – yarp. I reckon the same.

The secret Muslim from Kenya stuff always seemed like bollocks. OTOH, I’m sure the reason his college transcripts are still secret is because Obama’s just not that bright.

Not that you need to be a rocket surgeon to be a politician, he’s probably brighter than Dubya. But Dubya never pretended to be an intellectual, while his successor does like to larp as Professor Barry.

Also, he’s camper than Christopher Biggins in a tent at Christmas so I’d be surprised if he hasn’t batted for the other side on the downlow.

I think his college transcripts will show him to have lower test scores/gpa than GW.

Yeap, that;s lurking in there too.
