He’s losing it

Yiannopoulos wasn’t asked about the content of the speech that was shut down. The conversation focused instead on how Berkeley proved the point that the Left was ceding its right to federal grants by cracking down on free speech.

Which raises the possibility that Yiannopoulos and Brietbart were in cahoots with the agitators, in order to lay the groundwork for a Trump crackdown on universities and their federal funding.

  1. Reich, along with much of the Left, turned into the John Birch society so slowly I hardly noticed it.

They have made an arrest. He was not a right wing agitator. Zombietime has video. The organisers were not Republicans.

  2. Isn’t Trump, effectively, the most likely President to enact the policies that Reich promotes?

Also, he missed out the Russians….

  3. Just read his wiki;

“He also favors raising the federal minimum wage to $15/hr over three years, believing that it will not adversely impact big business, and will increase higher value worker availability.”

He manages to say that, but ignore the devastating impact on workers who’s valve is below $15/hr. And of course it won’t affect big business, they will invest in technology to increase worker productivity and cut jobs.

  4. Yes, it must all be a dastardly conspiracy by the people he brands as thick, who outsmarted all the clever young thi….

    Wait, what?

  5. Reich isn’t loosing it. He’s attempting to create a narrative, sanitise what occurred at Berkeley. If enough of the MSM run with it, it becomes “history”. What happened at Berkeley.
It’s an entirely legitimate tactic. As would have running ringers to spark a riot, to discredit the left.

This is how the game is played & it isn’t bloody cricket. The left have known this for years. Why they’ve been so successful. Meanwhile, what opposition they’ve had have been hampering themselves with rules & intellectual purity.
Time to take the gloves off & fight dirty.
The ends do justify the means.

  6. “I don’t want to add to the conspiratorial musings of so many about this very conspiratorial administration, but it strikes me there may be something worrying going on here.”

Translated: “Don’t listen to their ridiculous conspiracy theories; listen to mine”.

Hint: Milo isn’t suggesting any conspiracy here:he’s pointing out the appalling violence your friends perpetrated.

  7. Has Richard yet been asked a single, simple questiob: where anywhere in the smallest way ACTUALLY CONDEMN THE VIOLENCE?

  8. BiS – yes, i’ll go with that, he’s spinning for his ‘side’ like crazy. What’s known as the Shaggy defence.

  9. Why, why hang their credibility on a theory that is so easily debunked just by looking at the twitter and FB pages of those arrested for violence?

Unless they’re just going to keep going down the rabbit hole with the conspiracy, that it’s long-term Repub plants within the Red Fascist community to discredit the left?

  10. Reich does hit it on the head though when he says this has been a boon to Milo. But then, who’s fault is that?!!

  11. Milo’s book is a best seller already.

The best revenge is living well. At this rate Milo will be living in some considerable comfort.

  12. It occurs to me that when the left says Trump is Hitler, I may have been misunderstanding them. Forget 39/45 Hitler and instead think 33/39. There were running street batles in Germany between the communists and the national socialists which of course the national socialists lead by Hitler won.
So if the left are trying to say they are the communists who will eventually be beaten by the nationalists lead by Trump, then yes, they’re probably right.

  13. I read a 3,500 word article over the weekend that claimed Milo was a racist but couldn’t attribute a single direct racist quote to him. I think Milo is a complete tosspot and an appallingly vain rabble-rousing windbag, but don’t think he’s a racist.

For example one new article of faith for his opponents is that at the cancelled Berkeley speech he was planning to name students who are illegal/undocumented migrants. I have seen no evidence for this at all other than a colossal Twitter circle-jerk of people saying “yeah, well, everybody’s saying it so it must be true”

  14. “One new article of faith for his opponents is that at the cancelled Berkeley speech he was planning to name students who are illegal/undocumented migrants”

Which presumably means that there are such people, otherwise why the outrage?

    Hmmm…

Ticketholders to a Milo Yiannopoulos speech at the University of Colorado-Boulder received an anonymous message Wednesday afternoon, just hours before the event.

“We know who you are, tonight we will know your faces,” the email threatened those who planned to hear the controversial alt-right provocateur. “The identities of attendees will be released to the public on a list of known Neo-Nazi sympathizers. We do not tolerate fascists.”

    Just sayin’, like.

  16. Since the mental midget Reich didn’t watch Tucker Carlson he missed out on the interview in which Milo did said what he was going to talk about in his speech: culture appropriation. He was sad to not wearing a custom made headdresses. But SJW always project.

Reich is vying to be the American Paul Mason.

Why would anyone vie to be Paul Mason?

It must be bad enough to be the original.
