  1. Of course we want Len to win. He supports Jeremy and Jeremy’s project to irretrievably destroy Labour’s credibility isn’t complete

  2. What’s with the unshaven face? If you’re a male model it just looks like you’re trying too hard but on a 60-year-old pie-eating socialist cunt it makes you look like a child molester.

  3. Unions aren’t relevant except to monopoly labour. And almost everyone isn’t in that situation. We don’t have hundreds of people riding their bike to work.

It’s why they’re always protesting government privatisation. Once the hospitals are individually negotiating nurses wages like normal businesses, you don’t need unions.

  4. “…on a 60-year-old pie-eating socialist cunt it makes you look like a child molester.”

    Very good.

  5. Popular discontent about Britain’s current economic and social deal thrives. What used to be taken for granted – the ability of a young couple to buy a house …

When did private property, particularly the ownership of housing, become a think the left celebrated rather than despised?

Or is this Wully channelling the WGCE as self-consistency maestro?

  6. “What used to be taken for granted – the ability of a young couple to buy a house …”

It may have been taken for granted at some point but there was a long period before that where it was a ludicrously unreasonable dream for almost everyone.

  7. Hutton’s a liar.
    First line:
“This should be the left’s moment. Popular discontent about Britain’s current economic and social deal thrives.”

We had an election 20 months ago: the Tories won a shock majority. Since then, the Tories lead hasn’t dipped below double digits, and now it’s 20%, or as near as makes no difference.

The one thing we can be absolutely certain about is that no one gives a shit what the left thinks about anything, aside from the left themselves.

And there’s not enough of them to be consequential.
