Eh?

FIVE women were reportedly victims of a brutal and alleged homophobic attack by a group of men in Hampshire.

One of the women reportedly lost seven teeth when she was punched in the face.

The women were assaulted as they walked home after a night out in Portsmouth at 11.30pm on April 16.

It is understood the victims, were in a group of eight, when they received homophobic abuse from seven men who then went onto attack them.

Attacking women is now homophobic?

  1. Maybe it was a bunch of gayers hurling the abuse?

If so, epic fail on the part of the Daily Echo! The dead tree press isn’t supposed to mention that!

(What is the collective noun for poofs anyway? A fabulous?)

  2. A group of violent yobbos insult before they attack.

The insult is to suggest a group of women might be lesbos–how origial–if it happened the way the local craprag says.

Interesting that an otherwise CM leftist “homophobo” piece makes no mention of the wicked whiteness of the assailants. Or is MONA back on the job again?

Local newsrags are rotten with young Uni-trained Marxist scum. Peddling the cause and keen to be seen to be doing so. Build a shite-filled portfolio so to speak to boost themselves up to the nationals.

What a shame the nationals are dying eh?

The problem could be solved by removing –by law–any need for occupational licencing or “qualifications” in most if not all lines of work.

However under Dress-Up –let alone the EU–the march to needing an occupational licence to sweep the streets will continue.

  3. One of the women lost 7 teeth you say? I hope they throw the bloody key away when they catch him

  4. I suspect they were lesbians.

Whether the men said or did anything to indicate that the reason for the attack was because</i. they were lesbians probably doesn't matter to the cops, who will have 'hate crime' kudos to gain.

  5. In the comments, a commenter notes: “A serious assault by a large group of non-English males (his bit was included in the interview) should be banner headlines or are people afraid of being called racist?”

So yes, MONA as far as the MSM is concerned. Bet the comments now disappear.

  6. My Spidey senses get a hint of the usual ‘Men of No Appearance’ here. According to the article 3 men were arrested, who were from London, so not locals, and in the comments below someone mentions an interview seen on local TV in which one of the victims describes the assailants as quote ‘non English’. Join the dots…………….

As an aside, the comments also included the epic line:

“Pompey, the only town you can be jailbait and a milf at the same time’

  7. They were lesbians, sitting outside a lesbian bar. One assumes they were smoking. Thus we can confidently say this attack would not have happened if smoking in pubs hadn’t been banned.

    Mr X,

    > no mention of the whiteness of the assailants

Commments below one of the source articles state that the assailants are non-white, so you may be right.

  8. Let’s not jump to conclusions – maybe the assailants were St-George’s-Day-maddened hard-Brexit extremists.

  9. I can’t say I have a dog, so to speak, in this fight. The lesbians will hate me. The MONA will hate me too.

Leave them to it I reckon.

This is why we had immigration laws. But since the Left has decided we need to be enriched, these lesbians can be as vibrant’ed as they like.

  10. If they were MONA then the lesbian angle would be the perfect “look over there!” distraction.

  11. “A second victim, 25, added: ‘There was children there and the women were begging them to stop – it was like a riot.’”

The attack happened at 11.25pm. How old were these children?

  12. @JuliaM

I live near Portsmouth, and have been sampling its nightlife (irregularly, admittedly) for 25 years. Let me tell you: kids outside at 11:25 pm isn’t unusual.

Anyhow- it’d be interesting to know exactly what happened: it’d be odd if a gang of blokes (of whatever race/nationality/immigration status) suddenly beat the shit out of a bunch of women (of whatever orientation) for no reason whatsoever- even in Pompey.

I’d bet that there was a bit of back and forth before it got physical.

  13. @John Square: Good lord!

    @VftS: According to that link…

“Eight women had left the Blue Anchor pub, in Kingston Road, last Sunday night and singing I’m in the Mood for Dancing…”

The men were presumably singing ‘Saturday Night’s Alright For Fightin’…

  14. “This is why we had immigration laws. But since the Left has decided we need to be enriched, these lesbians can be as vibrant’ed as they like”

That’s a bit of a defeatist attitude. Sickening as this kind of thing is, if it was perpetrated by Muslims then it may be a way to wake the left up to the threat they are happily importing. I think the general revulsion the average western male will feel for men punching women is still higher than the fear of a racism accusation?

The real problem with leaving them to it to be “as vibrant’ed as they like” is that the soldiers of the ROP will not stop at lesbians, gays and other annoying lefty victim groups you disagree with. They will eventually want everyone to crawl before Islam, including you and the women in your life.

  15. So it’s important to stress it is a homophobic attack, but no-one can know the ethnicity of the attackers? Do we no longer care about racist attacks?

This shows the madness of hate crime laws; as the motivation matters when some scumbag smashes a woman’s teeth out.

It also shows the madness of importing vast numbers of primitives into civilisation. Or nearly civilisation…

  16. “if it was perpetrated by Muslims then it may be a way to wake the left up to the threat they are happily importing.”

Yeah, you can murder people in the street, but if you hit a lesbian, THAT’S IT!

  17. @tomsmith: “…then it may be a way to wake the left up to the threat they are happily importing.”

Oh, I think they are fully aware of the threat. They just think it won’t happen to them.

  18. > I’d bet that there was a bit of back and forth before it got physical.

I can imagine the men saw a large group of defenceless women (i.e. not protected by by their men, as they would be in lesser countries) as easy prey. They took umbrage when the ladies refused to show any interest in them. In some cultures, this is a matter of honour. I’m sure we can guess which cultures those might be.

  19. “Men” is hardly the right description for people who beat up women. “Cowardly turds” might do.

  20. Can’t find anything about it on the BBC website (not on the England news section) which suggests the story is toxic in some way – normally this would be SJW catnip.

  21. “Oh, I think they are fully aware of the threat. They just think it won’t happen to them.”

But a bunch of lesbians is them.

Remember Owen Jones’ meltdown on TV when a muslim killed some gays, I think in America? He couldn’t really handle it.

This kind of incident might allow them to think about the consequences because it is both so personal to them, their in-group, and also so alien in terms of the way it departs from the script and instead follows the kind of predictable stuff that has been going on in most of the world regarding homosexuals, women, etc since the year dot. The sort of thing that they usually pretend is not possible.

Then it might make them think about who and what is responsible for the fantastic gay tolerating culture they currently find themselves living in. And they might feel both lucky and scared.

  22. Vaguely interesting to note that according to the BBC’s report, the description of the attack as homophobic comes from a joint statement issued by the women themselves, who also wish to remain anonymous.

    Curious situation, that.

  23. suggests to me that you’re incapable of typing “homophobic” into the search box.

Not really. I judge the BBC’s interest by how prominent they display the article. Given that it wasn’t on their England news home page, but a story about a cat being rescued from a tree was, it’s a fair assumption that they weren’t interested.

I did mention “not in the England news section”, by the way.

  24. Social Justice Warrior: incapable of typing “homophobic” into the search box.

Ah, always nice to hear from members of IGLOO!

  25. Tomsmith: You are not getting it.

The left doesn’t and never did give a shite about lezzers or any other group they have cozied up to. They are just cannon-fodder to cause trouble and when a more useful group–our dear bearded friends say– appears more likely to destroy the West the lefts former pals are going under the bus pronto.

Which is exactly what is happening. Oh they still play the “globohomophobo” card but only in attack on whites. In any conflict of interest between their former “pals” and their new best friends the silence is deafening.

  26. Tim,
Depending on the root of the word:
    • “homo” = man (as in Homo sapiens), or
    • “homo” = same (as in homogenous).
My understanding is that “homosexual” is, in fact, derived from the latter.

    DK

  27. It was Portsmouth. Were they Trannies?

The Blue Anchor is pronounced The Blue Wanker. Who’d a thunk it.

  28. The attack happened at 11.25pm. How old were these children?

“Children”, as in “immigrant children”, presumably.
