No awareness with Owen, is there?

Imagine a former Daily Mirror or Guardian editor joking about Theresa May being knifed to death as a cause for national celebration. There would be a national furore. It would be presented as a striking case of how hate-filled, vicious and sadistically intolerant the modern left is. Anyone vaguely on the left would come under immense pressure to immediately dissociate themselves from such a sickening outrage, or otherwise be tarred by association.

And the reactions to Maggie were?

Not to mention that some rather large number of said lefties insist upon the elimination of the bourgeoisie. You know, me and thee should be up against the wall…..

  1. Wbhataboutery. Both sides are wrong. Mackenzie is nothing but a loud mouthed bully, but that doesn’t excuse Jones’s scribble.

  2. “Jo Cox was knifed to death by a dar-right terrorist”.

Well, I supose if you think a sad, mentally I’ll loner reading extreme literature.on his own and being inspired to vomit an evil.muder is a far-right terrorist lthen yoy will accept a sad, mentally I’ll loner who reads ISIL literature that inspires him to attack Parliament with a knife is an Islamic terrorist.

So I guess the moral fro this piece is kick the muslims out and send all Britain First sympathisers with them.

  3. So I guess the moral fro this piece is kick the muslims out

    Actually yes, Ironman-

We have commandments: Thou shalt not bear false witness, I shall tell the truth, the whole truth… etc.

They have a religion which promotes lying to the fakir.

    The two are incompatible.

  4. While Jones spews his faux outrage lets not forget , lets NOT forget, about the 150 million (all too) REAL murders so far carried out by socialism.

Which foul creed Jones, Corbyn and the rest endorse and approve of.

And why should not Corbo be stabbed by an imported beard? His poison creed has arranged just that and worse for a double figures group of innocent British people.

  5. People have been calling for Trump’s death quite frequently of late. A mentally ill Brit was even inspired to give it a go.

    He did not succeed.

  6. All versions of leftism – socialism, fascism, nazism, communism – are predicated on a willingness to use extreme violence.

Capitalism, by contrast, is just another word for peace, freedom and prosperity.

There is no moral equivalence between them.

Wishing violence on leftists is an entirely moral and indeed praise-worthy thing, no different than wishing violence on gangsters, muggers and rapists.

Wishing violence on capitalists, by contrast, is to wish violence on people who go peaceably about their business, hurting no one.

Perhaps Jones, when he grows out of short trousers and starts to shave, will one day realise this and become a decent person. It does happen.

  7. — “lets NOT forget, about the 150 million (all too) REAL murders so far carried out by socialism.”

I find such figures completely fail to convey the utter depravity of socialism, since they don’t consider the hundreds of millions of crushed lives of those who weren’t murdered but who effectively lived their lives as slaves.

  8. BTW the Gatestone Institute figures appear to be lifted directly from a German police report, but mein Deutsch is sketchy so if they’re making it all up apologies..

  9. We all know the Left’s attitude is one of utter hypocrisy to such matters, otherwise why was the putative Chancellor of the Exchequer addressing a May Day rally on Monday where people were openly waving placards of a 20th century mass murdering dictator, with not a single peep out of anyone?

  10. Jim,

Is it hypocrisy? As far as I can tell they’re quite open about the ends justifying the means. Their ends being supreme power for them and their fellow travellers.

  11. @Chris
Yes, I didn’t particularly mean anything by it, and I wasn’t speculating as to whether it had been a deliberate decision in any case. I just find it interesting. I don’t know whether not having children makes you less likely to think about the future of the country, it makes no difference, or perhaps you think more clearly about it. If the answer is either the second or third of those options then it doesn’t matter. If it is the first maybe it does. I wonder when the last time was (if ever) that the leaders of all three countries were childless?

  12. Interested – “I wonder when the last time was (if ever) that the leaders of all three countries were childless?”

Elizabeth I and Hitler? Not sure about the French.

  13. I don’t know whether not having children makes you less likely to think about the future of the country, it makes no difference, or perhaps you think more clearly about it.

For me it matters: with no stake in the future beyond the next few decades at most, I couldn’t give a rat’s arse. I have my preferences, most people don’t share them so…*shrug*.

  14. Tbf Mackenzie’s joke was in poor taste. Not that Owen gets jokes. He looks like he’s permanently clenching on an alum suppository.

Nobody wants to see Jeremy Corbyn assassinated. We want Tony Blair and death by bongo-bongo.

  15. The po-faced wankery from Owen 13 3/4 iss laughable.

Thee Guardian is the rag that published Steve Bell’s cartoon of Theresa May being buggered by Trump.

    Yeah those high moral standards.

This is the left in a nutshell. Behave like utter cunts whenever they feel like it, then have a fit of the vapours when maybe 1% comes back the other way.

  16. Do we really need to dignify this tosser with a response? He’s certainly on a par with Murphy and may indeed be somewhat worse.

  17. @SMFS

‘Elizabeth I and Hitler? Not sure about the French.’

I meant all at the same time.

  18. Nearest I can “at the same time” get from memory:
Queen Anne (UK) 16 pregnancies, no isssue
    The papacy
    The Holy Roman Empire
A homo Frog King barely out of nappies.

  19. And yet the little prick is thin skinned as can be. Any critical comment is quickly moderated if the argument cuts too close to the bone even if politely phrased.

Polly is nearly as bad for sensitivity.

They’re a pair of chicken shit, big mouthed, wankers who can dish it out but not take it.

  20. John 77

Didn’t know that. Thanks. will look it up. Doesn’t sound like an heir and a spare though.

    OTH
If he got to his late teens he could have been a paedo and saved us from the Hanoverians.

  21. Nobody wants to see Jeremy Corbyn assassinated

No-one Right of centre – who wants to kill the Golden Goose? The Wndow of Motive stretches from the Blairite Wing to…well, the Blairite Wing. Add in assorted nutters from the internet (filtering out the left-wing and hence embarrassing ones) and you’re done.

  22. Anyone who has read The Andromeda Strain (great book) would know that unmarried childless males were most likely to make dispassionate rational judgements. I must advise the book is fiction (great book though).

  23. Rob – Jezza always seems like he’s depriving a pub somewhere of a perfectly good Real Ale Twat.

It’s unfortunate (for him) that he became leader of the Labour Party, he’d make a great stock character on a 1970’s sitcom.
