Microsoft is the General Motors of software: Plowing into cutting edge of a technology at a time when they aren’t close to mastering existing technology. There’s a reason I use LibreOffice, and it isn’t because Microsoft Office is made for my non-quantum computer.
Mr Ecks
Were the Microsoft lads mostly British I would say they had watched too many episodes of “Tomorrow’s World” back in the 60s and 70s.
Quantum computers aren’t here yet–just like driverless cars and sex robots.
We really should wait for the tech to actually exist before regarding it as in the bag so to speak.
What next? Is one of these Silicon Valley dickheads going to propose the founding of Starfleet?

“Press the On/Off button” will be really confusing.
And how do we know when it’s Off? It might be on.

The waveform can be preserved by designing the power switch to be a black button on a black background with a little light that lights up black to let you know you’ve switched it on. Or possibly off.

‘Every time you try and operate these weird black controls that are labelled in black on a black background, a little black light lights up in black to let you know you’ve done it.

Qwerty Kat. Greatest programmer ever. He wrote that quantum code, you know.

I’d been presuming Spud writes his stuff on a quantum computer. His economics seems to exist in all possible states simultaneously..

Mr Ecks,
Is one of these Silicon Valley dickheads going to propose the founding of Starfleet?
Jean-Claude Juncker will beat them to it.

On the basis that I have to switch my Windows 10 based computer off and on twice a day they should make a wireless on/off switch that you can position handily on your desk.
Word for Windows was originally designed for a quantum computer.
It all makes sense now. Even printer drivers.
“Microsoft’s new coding language is made for quantum computers That is an advance, isn’t it?”
Well, yes and no. I wouldn’t like to take a position on it unless you box me in…..

Or did it?
