What, you mean like getting elected, fair and square?

This malady matters because it’s a symptom of normalisation, the urge to pretend Trump operates within the usual democratic boundaries when in fact he represents an alarming break from the norms that make liberal democracy possible.

Although, to be fair, there might be a lot of weight being put upon the word “liberal” there. Which is being used to mean “democracy I like.”

  1. The proles did not elect a gentleman like they was supposed to! Well, a mimicry of something human but definitely upper middle class in this case. The horror!

Trump has been a lot more law abiding than his opponents. He has not unleashed the DOJ and the FBI to drive his opponents out of office.

    Yet.

  2. I have to admit that every time I read a Freedland article or hear him on the radio moaning about Trump, an overwhelming desire to hit him with cricket bat comes over me. His only objection seems to be that he doesn’t like Trump’s hair

  3. Speaking of normal, it’s weird how uniformly media Jews like Jonathan Freedland are against anyone and anything that might lead white gentiles away from utter demographic destruction and endless humiliation as a despised minority in what used to be their own country.

Most lefties are retardly anti-Trump and anti-Brexit, but the Jews really do take it to the next level of paranoid and vindictive melodrama.

So Mr Freedland is the author of such gems as:

It took Barack Obama to crush the Brexit fantasy

Don’t pity white, middle-aged men. It’s ludicrous to cast them as victims

£50bn to leave the EU. What an unforgivable waste of money

We thought the Nazi threat was dead. But Donald Trump has revived it

Back in September 2016, when smuggos and people who weren’t paying attention assumed Hillary would win, Freedland was already luxuriating in the thought of white men being permanently disposessed in America:

Put brutally, no matter how devoted blue-collar white men are to Donald Trump, there are simply not enough of them in today’s America to win the election.

But wait, I thought lefties were supposed to like the working class?? Why it’s almost as if there’s some sort of ethnic animosity at work. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  4. Obviously there is “some kind” or ethnic animosity at work. Noticing it is likely to get you ostracised from normal society, thrown off blogs and internet media platforms, and possibly arrested. Good luck.

  5. Freedland on Obama is extraordinary. A swift Google on Freedland on Obama produces a long stream of hits, including this eye-popping beauty of hypocrisy

So Barack Obama is mortal after all. Those who had been ready to canonize America’s new president – actor Laura Linney recently confessed that she couldn’t gaze too long at Obama because “It’s like looking at the sun” – will have to pause. Just a fortnight in office and Obama has had to admit that his feet are made of clay.

“I screwed up,” he told a procession of high-wattage TV news interviewers on Tuesday. He was referring to the withdrawal of his nominee for health secretary, Tom Daschle, who had failed to pay $140,000 in taxes. On the very same day, Obama’s choice for White House chief performance officer, Nancy Killefer, also had to pull out before her nomination could be ratified: she had failed to pay employers’ tax on her household help. Add that to a Treasury secretary who forgot to pay his taxes and a Deputy Defence secretary who is a defence industry lobbyist – after all those campaign promises about cleaning up Washington – and Obama does indeed seem to have screwed up.

And if the Donald had screwed up in this way, would Freedland have shown the same calm acceptance?

  6. I guess the interesting thing is to ask why this uniform “ethnic animosity” exists.

It can’t be as trite as the straight forward explanation, can it?

And then interesting to think about the aims of this angry group, and how close they are to achieving them?

It sounds like the stuff of paranoid fantasy, which is I guess one reason that doing anything about it is so difficult.

  7. I don’t know Steve. Are Jewish Guardian writers any different to any other Guardian writers? Likewise, if you were to take a selection of anti-Trump, anti-white patriarchy bollocks from Salon or some other guff-trumpet, would you be able to pick out the ones written by Jews?

Liberals are useless, malicious fuckers who in many cases work to destroy the civilisation which gave them everything. Some of them are Jews; they’re no different to all the others.

My mate Ian’s Jewish and he has no truck with any Guardian, London-bubble nonsense.

  8. @Diogenes – many chaps who suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome exhibited earlier symptoms of Barry Bumlove Syndrome, the desire to be sexually violated by the 44th president.

I’m a little surprised that, despite these guys also often claiming to be gay-friendly, they concealed their desires behind wibble such as that you quote, instead of just admitting they wanted his cock.

  9. Trump Jnr described his father as a “blue collar billionaire” and The animus and snobbery is directed at the “blue collar” part. Obviously billionaires like Soros, Zuckerman and Bizos are beyond reproach.

  10. MC – Sure, there are good and admirable Jews who are fighting the good fight for Western Civilisation. Roger Stone, who Freedland smears in this article, is on the goodies’ side (despite his trollish persona). Stephen Miller, President Trump’s aide, is another top quality Hebrew.

I’m a longtime admirer of Bibi Netanyahu, though he’s (rightly) playing his own game and not ours. Michael Howard is the best post-Thatcher Prime Minister we never had.

It’s always a bit tricky talking about groups rather than individuals, and the Reductio Ad Judem has an unedifying history. But we certainly can observe aggregate differences, so if Jonathan Freedland and others can talk about white men as a group, the gander can expect to be ensaucened too.

So are Jews, in general, more likely to be hostile to Western survival, and more so than other lefties? I think the answer is yes, based on what I’ve seen, including the outpourings of bile post-Trump and Brexit.

And based on how reliably Jewish voters and organisations support the invasion of Europe by “refugees” – the rabbis have been extremely vocal about our supposed “responsibility” to accept unlimited immigration from the Third World. Nobody ever suggests Israel should accept Syrian refugees though. Even though they’re neighbours.

In the US, it’s amazing how many neocons suddenly found they were no longer conservatives when the conservatives stopped voting for unlimited immigration and unlimited war in the Middle East.

Tomsmith – I’m terribly impressed with Dr. Jordan Peterson’s advice. Telling the truth is important.

  11. I find the contrast between liberal western Jews who often, as you say, seem to want western countries to be destroyed by unlimited immigration, and Israeli Jews who often seem quite keen to continue with an ethnostate and sensible immigration policy for reasons of survival, to be quite shocking.

  12. decnine – so paying however much we are paying is OK but paying a lump sum over decades and nothing afterwards is bad?
How many years membership is £50 bn worth?

  13. Gays, women, ethnic minorities, the working class

All mascots used by leftists like shields in a Roman Testudo formation in which to advance their power grab. This renders their motives beyond the reach of criticism – “How can you be against the poor, the oppressed etc”

Should one of these mascots outlive their usefulness, in this case the working class by voting for Brexit / Trump, they can be tossed aside and maligned in the media whilst being easily replaced by another victim group, eg transsexuals

  14. So Much For Subtlety said:
“Trump … has not unleashed the DOJ and the FBI to drive his opponents out of office.”

    Pity.

  15. All mascots used by leftists like shields in a Roman Testudo formation in which to advance their power grab.

    Splendid simile. Top hole!

  16. Steve – just on jews and immigration; I suppose there are jews who support immigration because they see themselves as immigrants. (Also many liberal Jews are also anti-Israel)

I reckon that’s a bit daft because firstly, us anti-immigration types aren’t worried about the 4x2s and think of them as being much the same as us. And secondly, the hordes of Africa and Goatfuckistan also lump us and Jews in the same ‘infidels who deserve to die’ bucket. Except they’d rather have at go a the Jews first probably.

Personally, I wonder if I am that anti-immigration. If Britain had a community of 3m Japanese instead of Muslims from Pakistan, Africa and Bangladesh, I doubt I’d be that exercised about it all.

  17. @tomsmith
You’ll find a lot of Israelis will agree with you on that.
I can think of three sisters are fine examples. The two in London are so right-on it’s almost painful. Number three’s been an Israeli citizen the past 30 years. Got to the point now, they rarely speak.

  18. Solid Steve 2: Squirrels of The Patriots said:
“the rabbis have been extremely vocal about our supposed “responsibility” to accept unlimited immigration from the Third World”

So have most Christian clergy, sadly. And atheist BBC types. Seems to be less to do with religion or ethnicity, more to do with never having had to run (or even work in) a proper business.

  19. RichardT – absolutely. And I’m not looking to keep banging on about THE JEWS!!!1!, but you’ll find far greater uniformity of opinion, and much more stridence, on the kosher side than on the Jesusy side.

I wouldn’t recommend the digital sewage main that is Twatter, but if you ever have a gander at the sort of folks who are most exorcised by fucking white males, and most likely to gleefully prophesy our demise, well… it’s not the Amish.

Re: the fake Christians who’ve taken over the churches. They’re men without chests. They have forgotten their father and made a golden calf out of Diversity™, climate change, and social justice.

The worst thing that could happen to these people is Jesus Christ coming back to judge them.

  20. I can think of three sisters are fine examples. The two in London are so right-on it’s almost painful. Number three’s been an Israeli citizen the past 30 years. Got to the point now, they rarely speak

If the natives of Tower Hamlets were lobbing “home-made missiles” (as the BBC refers to them) at them on a regular basis then their outlook on life might start to converge.

One of the themes of the age is how unempathic people who claim to be tolerant and empathic really are. They have literally lost any sense of really feeling and understanding what someone else’s circumstances might be, instead replacing it with an ersatz spasm whenever ‘deserving’ groups are the subject.

  21. Yes. You people controlled the media like The Matrix. A few people started to figure something wasnt quite right, but only with the internet did they unplug and start arguing outside the Normal Frame of Reference.

I’m not really built for politics but I want a new “right” party. Not the ashes of UKIP, not the Conservatives with the odd Hannan who is farting in the wind of one nation blue socialism.

  22. Liberal democracy; social democracy; Christian democracy; democracy.

They cannot all be the same can they otherwise why the adjectives?

I know what democracy is, what are the others?

What would a non-liberal or non-social democracy be, I wonder?

Justice and social justice… the latter cannot be the former or the adjective would be superfluous. So what is it?

Then we have republics that are ‘democratic’… what are non- democratic republics?

  23. after all those campaign promises about cleaning up Washington

Oh, how did that work out, then? Funny how putting a half-African into the US presidency brings with it African-style corruption and graft.

  24. John B said:
“Justice and social justice… the latter cannot be the former or the adjective would be superfluous. So what is it?”

Real justice is about fair processes; social justice is about getting the outcome the speaker wants.

  25. Tim N – sure. To be fair to Obama though, Romney or McCain would’ve been worse.

Maybe less corrupt on the domestic front (maybe: check out the Keating Five), but they’d almost certainly have gotten the US into another major land war in Asia. Libya was bad enough.

Obama’s indecisiveness and lack of interest in things that didn’t involve golf or preening with celebs meant his presidency was less disastrous than it might’ve been.

In retrospect he’s less like everybody’s favourite grinning sociopath Tony Blair and more like the stodgy suit-filler John Major.

  26. BIS:

“You’ll find a lot of Israelis will agree with you on that.”

I guess facing the realistic prospect of imminent genocide from a numerically vastly superior and hostile but vibrant neighbour that also constitutes a large proportion of your own population has the effect of making scales fall from the eyes a bit.

It seems a bit like the the leadership in 1970s Rhodesia facing race-based Maoist insurrection and death, vs the leadership in the UK busily importing hordes of barbarians while reluctant to look bad by aiding Rhodesia, or later SA?

The inability of liberal Jews and whites in the West to imagine a future reality where their preferred policies have been followed is distressing though..do these people all lack children? Or are they just blind? Or do they hate themselves so much that they want to die (taking the rest of us with them)? It is a puzzle.

There is a disease of the mind at work here I think. White and Jewish Western liberals are susceptible. I don’t know why. Something about our shared history? It does not seem to be an affliction that affects Africans of any creed or Middle Eastern Muslims, even after several generations.

Hello Cathy – my opinion is that any payment greater than nil would be too much.

  28. Somehow we expect Jews to be better, given all they have gone through, and we are annoyed when 50% of them still turn out to be below average.

  29. @ John B
“Christian democracy” is an oxymoron. A “Christian Democrat” is not quite – a person who operates (in) a democratic state while trying maintain as much as possible/practicable of his/her Christian principles.
A Liberal democracy is one where those with liberal views have won an election and use the “tyranny of the majority” to enforce those views on the losers (even if the rulers are actually a minority of the electorate).
“Social democracy” means that the country is ruled by people chatting in cafes

  30. Tomsmith:

“There is a disease of the mind at work here I think. White and Jewish Western liberals are susceptible. I don’t know why. Something about our shared history? It does not seem to be an affliction that affects Africans of any creed or Middle Eastern Muslims, even after several generations.”

It is the evil of the hate/death cult socialism. Simple as that.

  31. Mr Ecks:

“It is the evil of the hate/death cult socialism. Simple as that”

Why does socialism encourage white people and Jews to self destruct, while simultaneously encouraging Africans and Muslims to go into rape and pillage overdrive/mania?

  32. SS2

Touché! I missed that craparola from Sacks.

That said, at the 2017 GE, the Jewish vote went overwhelmingly to the Conservatives. Without it, Corbyn could well be PM now…

  33. Theo – that’s a scary thought. I’m sure there’s an alternative universe where Prime Minister Wurzel Corbyn is currently explaining why the Ministry of Food is reducing our turnip rations.

  34. The Leftards have their strawman characterizations of Trump. Freedland is attacking a strawman. It’s just stupid.

  35. Theophrastus – “That said, at the 2017 GE, the Jewish vote went overwhelmingly to the Conservatives. Without it, Corbyn could well be PM now…”

Which is the tragedy for Jonathan Freedland. The Guardian used to be very rich in Jewish writers but then they embraced the Islamists. People like David Aaronovitch walked. Why wouldn’t they? When the Guardian actively endorses people who want to kill every Jew on the planet, it must be tough to continue to work there.

But JF has. I would love to hear him explain that.

British Jews have had little choice but to vote Tory. American Jews still don’t vote Republican but the Dems seem to be doing their best to drive the Jews out. We will see what happens. Losing the Jewish vote would be a disaster to the Democratic party but they do not seem to realise it yet.

Fred Z – “Somehow we expect Jews to be better, given all they have gone through, and we are annoyed when 50% of them still turn out to be below average.”

I do not expect them to be better. I am surprised that how little credit Britain is given by many people of Jewish origin despite all that Britain has done for them. People like Ralph Milliband were actually saved by Britain. He spent the rest of his life trying to destroy Britain. Thanks dude.

john77 – ““Christian democracy” is an oxymoron. ”

I am not sure. I think Christianity is probably a pre-requisite for democracy even if Christianity has little truck with democracy as a concept. An accidental prerequisite.

  36. @SMFS – the reason he’s stayed is because he’s a cunt. It’s fairly obvious that when he picture for his byline was taken he thought he was entering the smug cunt of the year photo award – which he would have won by a mile. Everytime i see his picture i can’t help feeling that he’d be improved by a good kicking. Reading his articles only confirms that feeling. Put him in a room with the potato and the levels of cuntishness and smugness would reach critical levels within moments

  37. @ SMFS
The cultural side-effect of Christianity which says, inter alia, that all men equal in the sight of God – may encourage democracy, but Athens used to oscillate between democracy, oligarchy and autarchy prior to the Nativity, so I cannot agree with you.
I *do* see that you nearly have a point that I overlooked – most modern democracies are, as you say, a side-effect of Christianity.
