There is a process for change.

It is thinking.

Followed by persuasion.

Followed by consensus building.

Followed by change.

Followed by feedback management.

Followed by review.

And new thought.

And throughout it all there has to be respect for difference, dialogue and accommodation of difference.

Yes, you’ve guessed it, on the one which immediately bans any commentary which contains difference, attempts critical dialogue or accommodates difference.

  1. There is a process for change.

It is a cursory attempt at thinking.

    Followed by wild assertions.

Followed by candid banning of dissenters.

Followed by a sweaty appearance on TV being filleted by Andrew Neil.

Followed by feedback management, i.e. banning everyone.

Followed by repeating it next week, or perhaps the complete opposite opinion depending on which day of the week it is.

And throughout it all there has to be respect for me, me who invented lots of things you thought predated me by many years, even decades.

  2. martydom awaits the potato. Can the ego get any bigger – i thought it had peaked at dachau comparisons, but i was wrong.

Come the revolution, when you’re one of the ones against the wall life can be very short.

Do you have the image of the wall against which you should be shot for your courageous defence of justice?

Will this get through modération ?

  4. Of course he forgets to mention that his opinion/silence can easily be bought. Prior to funding by the eu he wasn’t very complimentary about the eu. A few quid later it was the best thing since sliced bread. Likewise secrecy of funding. Was dead against it – worse than hitler if you accepted it – then gets money from someone who wants to remain anonymous (and who wouldn’t want to remain anonymous if you pissed your money away supporting the potato) and suddenly he’s all for it. He wouldn’t be shot – bung him a few quid and he’ll be licking your boots.- though the pleasure of seeing him grovel before you shot him would probably be priceless.

  5. Speaking as a left-winger the man is an odious hypocritical blowbag. I don’t think I’ve ever come across anyone so full of their own self-importance. He really is an utter embarrassment.
