  1. The first comment I was banned from TRUK for (at least under this moniker) was regarding the advertising ban he proposed on products for Children:

‘I see tax as the main corrective mechanism here, except for advertising aimed at children. That I would like to ban.’

I asked if this would be extended to the state and got the response that I was ‘clearly a troll – my time here was at an end’

At least on this his attitude would be consistent with the real world Courageous state – private advertising in North Korea is actually banned.

  2. Interesting that right next to his text condemning advertising is an advert for his book and the Fair Tax Mark.

    That’s different… Because reasons.

  4. Jesus: ‘Deliver us Lord from temptation’
Progressive in Ely: ‘Why don’t we pay the Romans to ban it for us?’
Jesus: ‘Let’s take that bit again from the beginning and you let me know where I lost you’

  5. In 2009 a number of backbenchers begged me not to consider standing for parliament saying I was much more use outside it

Yes the man really said that..

  6. We can see the evil power of advertising in Venezuela, where it spread false consciousness. All you would see, day after day, were adverts for toilet roll and soap. The Venezuelan people were eventually brain-washed into thinking they wanted, no NEEDED to wipe their arses and wash their hands afterwards. Now, thanks to the Venezuelan New Deal turning off the electricity along with the adverts, they have attained a higher state of TRUE consciousness.
    Behold the Courageous State
