Donald Trump: Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz doesn’t have ‘guts’ to run for president

Because a left leaning centrist running is just what will sweep Trump back in, isn’t it?

  1. Yes, The Donald would be delighted by a third party candidate, if they took votes mainly from the Democrats. This is a flaw in the US electoral system, that Presidents may be decided (effectively) by which third party candidate(s) choose to run.

  2. Seriously, pro Trump ?
A racist protectionist lying isolationist undermining NATO and the WTO
In what universe is this a good thing ?

  3. Newmania

“In what universe is this a good thing ?”

    Trump? Ours.

The person you describe, however, doesn’t exist except in yours.

  4. Look I appreciate a good gag at the expense of a cripple as much as the next guy and maybe he meant ” ..immigrants from Haiti “all have AIDS” as locker room banter or maybe “40,000 Nigerians, once seeing the United States, would never “go back to their huts” in Africa is fake news
Surely , even if you secretly like all his bigotry ( which as we all know , you do), you can see that President backing off NATO and erecting trade barriers is not good for us

Please please please don`t tell me you thin k he is going to do anything to help the Uk…no surely no-one could be that stupid ?

    Could they ?

  5. Newmania you cretin,

Trump has said on many occasions he wants a tariff free world. Since we dont have one he is using tariffs as a club to move China and the EU towards that.

  6. A racist protectionist lying isolationist undermining NATO and the WTO.

It should be noted that in the first two years of the Trump Administration, the labor participation rate and real wages have grown. Employment rates among African-Americans and Latinos are at historic lows, despite participation rates rising. Why? Lower corporate and individual tax burdens, decreased regulatory burden, both directly attributable to Trump, is good place to start. And in attempting to restrict illegal immigration, he is attempting to protect the employment and wages learned by those in the lowest quartile of earners, who (surprise!) just happen to be disproportionately African-American and Latino.

And you wonder why folks like me think you’re a dim-witted little cunt.

  7. A racist protectionist lying isolationist undermining NATO and the WTO.

It should be noted that the Trump Administration has successfully negotiated a new NAFTA Treaty which, for some reason, neither Mexico nor Canada found too protectionist to avoid. As to China, well, there you’d have to understand how negotiations proceed in the real world, and that’s well beyond your level of understanding.

And what exactly has the Trump Administration done to undermine the WTO? Could you provide something other than a headline ripped from Daily KOS? You know, something like a fact?

And you wonder why folks like me think you’re a dim-witted little cunt.

  8. A racist protectionist lying isolationist undermining NATO and the WTO.

I’m old enough to remember when little leftist cunts used to think U.S. foreign interventions were a bad thing. Guess that ended when Obama/Hilliary intervened (for the greater good of all) in Syria.

Scratch a lefty, find an imperialist.

And you wonder why folks like me think you’re a dim-witted little cunt.

  9. A racist protectionist lying isolationist undermining NATO and the WTO.

Gee, Trump just talked the Europussies into increasing their NATO spending by $100 billion.

And you wonder why folks like me think you’re a dim-witted little cunt.

  10. A racist protectionist lying isolationist undermining NATO and the WTO.

Take a bit of time in between shifts at the Burger King to find out what Democratic Party house negroes like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton thought of Donald Trump before he decided to run for president as a Republican.

They thought he was a great guy, and said so publicly. Even gave him some awards.

And you wonder why folks like me think you’re a dim-witted little cunt.

  11. One of the many good things about Brexit is that it has made clear just how much nasty, scummy WOMI remainiac shite has grown to infest the UK. We might never have known had not decent people flushed out all the foul demented coprolites such as the Facepainter.

In lots of ways a civil war might not be a bad thing. There can be no reconcilement with such scum as the Facepainter and his ilk. None.

  12. Please please please don`t tell me you think he is going to do anything to help the UK…no surely no-one could be that stupid?

Why the fuck would he bother? At the moment the UK can’t even help itself.

  13. Timmy –

Howard Schultz may look like a “left leaning centerist” from Europe, but I can assure you he doesn’t look anything of the sort in Flyover Territory, USA.

  14. No Peasant I do not wonder about Volk like you at all – you are a tediously common type
Trumps campaign featured endless protectionist promises ( and while he initially hid behind WTO anti dumping grounds those became very tenuous when he moved onto iron and aluminium , he has tried to stop of the WTO`s court of appeal form operating and threatened to withdraw. When you think that the spectral and powerless WTO would cease to have any vestigial reality at all without US support that is more than enough.

I note your revolting reference to ” House Negroes” with weary disgust and you economic illiteracy( immigrants cause lower wages ….sigh) with equally tired boredom
I am not a leftist I am an Atlanticist and regard the regular periods of US isolationism as a bad thing as I always did

Anyway I really must get back to those burgers …

  15. I am not a leftist I am an Atlanticist

You are? Really? And being an Atlanticist you’d prefer the sort of policies promulgated by the likes of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton? Really?

Yours is the sort of shit I’d expect from someone like Richard Murphy.

Then again, you are someone like Richard Murphy, so I guess it all makes sense.

  16. “you can see that President backing off NATO ”

Who exactly is backing off NATO, the USA, or the countries that have been freeloading on the US contribution in order to spend less on their defence budgets, who have now been called out by Trump?

I don’t remember you berating Angela Merkel for ‘backing off NATO’ by refusing to pay the agreed amount in military spending. Germany is one of the worst culprits, spending just 1.2% of GDP against an agreed 2%. Bankrupt Greece manages 2.4%.

  17. I note your revolting reference to ” House Negroes” with weary disgust…

    Of course you do.

Did you look up the quotes?

    Of course you didn’t?

  18. Newmania – quite funny watching you melt down in horror.

Don’t clutch your pearls too hard you might break them.

Out of your comfort zone are you?

    Hahahahahah

  19. @ Newmania
I have disliked Donald Trump for dozens of years and could never be described a “pro-Trump” by an honest person.
I don’t mind being called “stupid”
I do think that Donald Duck, sorry Trump, will do something to help the UK post-Brexit because it will be in his interests to do so and he looks after no 1 – a trade deal that is in the interests of both the UK and the USA, especially the USA, will boost his re-election campaign.

  20. ‘And you wonder why folks like me think you’re a dim-witted little cunt.’

    He’s the new, improved “Thick.Racist.Prick.”

  21. …and you economic illiteracy( immigrants cause lower wages ….sigh) with equally tired boredom

Wow. There are estimated to be 10 million illegals living in the USA and none of them work. Evidently they’re all independently wealthy!

    Who knew?

So, let’s review. In your universe a large pool of un- or underemployed unskilled labor doesn’t depress wages for employed unskilled labor.

And I’m the economic illiterate? Right.

  22. At least Trump has the good sense to withdraw from the economically suicidal Paris climate agreement that Obama signed. He has also recognised how dangerous Iran is, unlike Obama who was played by the Iranians. He has appointed a Conservative to the Supreme Court. I could go on …

  23. Great Delingpole article today:

    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/01/28/delingpole-britains-deep-state-is-a-bigger-threat-than-corbyn/

He said something that really clicked. We are being made to feel like strangers in our own country.

My example: “White privelege.” It’s bogus, of course. But how is it even allowed to be said in a country that’s 70% white? Why aren’t the people saying it just told to STFU? Republicans/Conservatives are fvcking useless.

The PEOPLE are going to have to save their countries. Their government won’t. Their democratically elected representatives won’t.

In Donald Trump, we have a President who gets it, and is trying to save Western Civilization.

Claims that Trump is “a racist protectionist lying isolationist undermining NATO and the WTO” is the tantrum of a Lefty whose grip on the West is weakening.

  24. So you have accepted you were talking ill-informed shite about Trumps threats and actions against WTO . Good for you moron, you are just a little less of moron today … try reading “Newspaper” it’s full of this stuff
You are clearly unskilled yourself, so I suppose you think that every time you get out off bed you make the word poorer. Not so (other than spiritually and by your incompetence) . Nor did the waves of unskilled migrants that arrived in the States( whilst it got richer) and nor, as it happens , have the migrants arriving in the UK ( while it got richer and more fully employed)
There may be a local affect here and there but an active employed citizen is almost always a net contributor to demand and thereby to employment.

Comin over ere taking our jobs …arf arf .. Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose revolting peasant…. You want it be true so you can clothe your bigotry in respectable drag . That’s all .

  25. My, we’re in a state, aren’t we?

I like this: You are clearly unskilled yourself, so I suppose you think that every time you get out off bed you make the word poorer.

I’m guessing you didn’t make the high school typing team, did you?

  26. “A racist protectionist lying isolationist undermining NATO and the WTO.”

    Lefturds don’t care about lying.

“More young black men languish in prison than attend colleges and universities across America”
“We signed into law the biggest middle-class tax cut in history”
“90 percent of the budget deficit is due to George W. Bush’s policies”
“If you like your health-care plan, you can keep it”
“The Capitol Hill janitors just got a pay cut”
“The day after Benghazi happened, I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism”
“I didn’t call the Islamic State a ‘JV’ team”
“Republicans have filibustered 500 pieces of legislation”
“The Keystone pipeline is for oil that bypasses the United States”
“We have fired a whole bunch of people who are in charge of these [VA] facilities”

    But Trump lies:

WaPo fact-checks Trump’s boast burgers were piled up “a mile high.”

“A racist.” Everyone who doesn’t submit to the Left’s agenda is labeled a racist.

    Lefturds don’t care about racism.

Lefturds talk about lying and racism because other people do. Right out of ‘Rules for Radicals.’ Lefturds just care about their agenda, the destruction of Western Civilization. As Robert Conquest said, the Left will use the mores of the West against the West.

  27. There may be a local affect here and there but an active employed citizen is almost always a net contributor to demand and thereby to employment.

First of all, I repeatedly stated I was talking about illegal immigrants creating a pool of unemployed to depress wages. Last time I checked, illegal immigrants aren’t citizens.

    Not even in your universe.

And my concern isn’t that illegal immigrants will take my job, it is that it will depress the wages of unskilled citizens, who are, disproportionately African-American and Latino. Last time I checked, that didn’t qualify as a racist sentiment.

    Not even in your universe.

  28. Not sure what an “Atlantacist” is.. A believer in a sunken continent peopled by mysterious high-tech wizards colonised Mars in ancient times? Possibly. Sounds screwball enough. Whatever, doesn’t seem to involve having any respect for the democratic system elected the current US President. Or much for the American electorate. Sounds very much like free-loading Euroliberal, to me.

  29. @Flubber January 29, 2019 at 1:53 pm

    +1

Trump offered a free trade deal to EU at G7 meeting in Canada

EU: hmm, yeah but no but…. No

  30. BiS –

An “Atlanticist” is basically thinks the USA, Canada and Europe should have exceptionally close ties due to exceptionally close mutual defense and trade interests.

You know, your basic white supremacist urging the white folks of the world to band together.

  31. An “Atlanticist” is basically thinks the USA

    Stick a “someone” in there.

Christ, I’m starting to type like him.

  32. And a “who”.

    Help! I’ve contracted Newmania’s Disease…

The inability to type any single sentence core;ljdljga340-oijly.

  33. DtP

UnEmployment rates among African-Americans and Latinos are at historic lows…

Fixed it for you. Attempts to decipher Newmania screeds have been known to cause sentence incompleteness syndrome. I think he’s mostly sober tonight; drunk and it’s like reading a 2006 bablefish English – Korean – English translation.

Trump is a delightful godsend, but I fear even he is not enough to stop the leftardness of America. Open socialism on the main Democrat platform – and really popular. Fucking hell.

  34. you economic illiteracy( immigrants cause lower wages ….sigh

    Lol.

Imagine coming to an economics blog to claim supply and demand curves aren’t real.

Dennis – There are estimated to be 10 million illegals living in the USA

Yarp. But it’s been “estimated” at 11m illegals for nearly 20 years now.

God alone knows what the true number is, but 30-50 million wouldn’t surprise me. You can’t walk into a Walmart without encountering the vibrant sounds and smells from gaggles of sleepy-eyed stumpy Toltec tree-goblins. Not just in the big cities and Mexico-adjacent states, mind, but even in random places near the Canadian border that would’ve been Whitopia before the late 90’s or so.

If Norman Rockwell was alive today his paintings would look like something from Lord Of The Rings meets District 9.

  35. What would happen if Newmania and NiV got into an argument?

Spontaneous fission of non-radioactive materials? Earth as an atomic bomb?

  36. …Whitopia…

Steve, if you fancy some nostalgic grocery shopping, go to Sainsbury’s in Ripley (Derbyshire). It’s not local to me but I end up shopping there a couple of times a year and its still like the world of our youth. I’m sure it will end, and the end has probably already begun, but Ripley seems an English town that is still English.

  37. @Steve January 30, 2019 at 1:39 am

Illegal immigrants in London estimated at 2 Million (iirc) by Sewage Companies in 2017/8

imo Sewage does seems one good way to estimate true population.
