Great political moments

Sen. Cory Booker made himself look the fool yet again this week while questioning judicial nominee Neomi Rao.

At Tuesday’s confirmation hearing, the Jersey Democrat senator went after Rao with the clear suspicion that she’s some kind of religious bigot, asking first: “Have you ever had an LGBTQ law clerk?”

Her reply exposed Booker’s total lack of preparation: “I have not been a judge, so I don’t have any law clerks.”

  1. Member that gay guy said Corey Booker sexually assaulted him?

“I think it’s relevant to your opinion if you think African-American relationships are immoral, do you think gay relationships are immoral?” Huh? Immoral African-American relationships?”

Things that make you go “Hmmm”.

  2. Yet again, a democrat trying to fish out ‘wrong-think’ rather than working out if the nominee can do the job.

    Bunch o’ cunts

  3. Cory Booker is attempting to prove that African-American politicians can be just as stupid as Joe Biden is.

He seems to be well on his way to complete success.

  4. Mr T, the MP in question sounds like one of the vulnerable constituents she purports to be worried about.

  5. Furthermore, it’s against the employment law for a prospective employer to ask their candidate for employment their sexual orientation. Unless the candidate volunteered the information.

  6. The follow-up question from Booker was something along the lines of have you ever employed anyone who is LGBTQ to which the answer came I dunno; I don’t ask people their sexuality when enjoying them as it’s irrelevant to how they could do the job.

  7. “Furthermore, it’s against the employment law for a prospective employer to ask their candidate for employment their sexual orientation. Unless the candidate volunteered the information.”

Does that hold true if they admit it on a Faceache page, for example?

    Enjoying them or employing them?

  9. The Post Editorial Board made themselves look the fool, again.

Democrats don’t care about what Cory Booker says. His harangue of Rao makes him a HERO, not a fool.
