OK, so we can tell this idiot to bugger off then

Growing Wealth Inequality in the United States and China
That is all only in the United States; some other countries have in much worse. Bangladesh, for example, has an extremely high rate of poverty, and a federal minimum wage equal to about $60 USD per month. (Worstall) That is why so many manufacturers have factories in Bangladesh — they can pay the workers next to nothing. It is a very similar situation in many other south east Asian countries, as well as for China. China, while claiming to be have a communistic economy, has a huge problem with wealth inequality — one of the fastest growing of any country. Shanghai, China has a GDP per capita of $53,370 — only $200 less than the United States — while the Gansu province has a GDP per capita of only $7,641 — just $200 more than Guatemala.

That’s income inequality, not wealth inequality.

We need pay no more attention to this fool then. If you can’t even get the basic concepts right then you’re not worth including in the conversation, are you>

  1. There’s an impressive segue from “wealth inequality” (actually income inequality) to “social inequality” (whatever that is), as if the two were somehow connected:

Shanghai, China has a GDP per capita of $53,370; while the Gansu province has a GDP per capita of only $7,641. And that is only a glimpse at wealth inequality in China, where social inequality has reached a point frighteningly similar to that of Germany in the later 1930s. In China’s western province of Xinjiang, a secure facility was discovered in 2018 that reveals China has been moving Muslim citizens from their homes into local internment camps. (Sudworth)

LoL. Some animals are more equal than others.

  3. Factoid about Gansu from the excellent Christopher Oakley
the province of Gansu, where drinking incidence is lowest, has a higher incidence of stroke than Sichuan where consumption is over 12 times higher
You’d be a fool to claim causality – that not drinking alcohol causes relative poverty – but I’d rather not take my chances, thanks and hic.
    It’s genetics apparently.

  4. ‘In the United States, it would be not only foolish, but also ignorant to say that all people are treated equally, as is stated in our Constitution.’

The Constitution says all citizens will be treated equally under the law. If you are black in Chicago and have your own TV show, or you are vile old white woman whose husband used to president, then, yeah, you are not treated equally.

‘The effects of economic downturn and many pieces of legislation (specifically all laws dealing with the war on drugs) disproportionately effect people of color and other minorities.’

People of color (sic) and other minorities vote for Democrats, who control the legislature. So why do you keep voting for them, dumbass?

Cause you are a socialist and your writing is just CM crap.

‘And then there is the issue of wealth inequality; what kind of country allows a small handful of individuals collectively own more than half of the population?’

Allows? The writer demands a totalitarian government.

  5. I didn’t know Bangladesh was a federal country. It’s so small I would have automatically thought it was a unitary state.

Checking Wiki confirms, it is a centralised unitary state, with regional government offices – these being regional offices of the *central* government, not regional government. Bangladesh is essentially “Ireland” *not* “USA”.
