  1. I find the idea of gender-reveal parties puke-provoking – a huge indulgence in me, me, me; the babe will be an entirely secondary consideration.

It would be interesting if women did gender-reveals before an abortion, eh?

On third thoughts, maybe a gender-reveal by the mother-to-be would be interesting: “I identify as a male carrot”, that sort of thing.

  2. I’ll give her that it is a sex-reveal, but that won’t make her happy.*

The sex of a child is significant. Making a party out of the reveal is a good idea. The world needs more joyful people. Ms Marshall’s problem is people having fun. And she isn’t invited. Ever. For good reason.

She thinks she and the rest of her CM scum own everything sex/gender. The world ignores them, it pisses her off, and the rest of us smile.

    *Nothing can.

  3. TomO–That dude turning up on your doorstep isn’t going to win them many votes. Hope whoever picked him is picking all their candidates.

  4. Reminds me of the time I got mugged by a guy wearing a single white glove covered in rhinestones.

    He was a smooth criminal.

  5. Oh FFS. This creep is just a nasty piece of work.

“Here’s a fun question for you. Which group of people is so obsessed with enforcing regressive gender stereotypes that they’ve killed a woman, injured several others and set fire to various bits of land?

    Is it:

    (a) LGBT+ people?
    (b) The straights?”

Got a glimpse of this article before the Times paywall blocked it off. But not hard to join the dots. People wanted fireworks at a party & thought it was a good idea to put one, probably a rocket, in a metal pipe. Thing gets jammed & the heat cooks the propellant off so it goes off all at once. Seen someone do exactly this. Blows the tube & scatters metal fragments all over. Lucky no one got hurt.
OK. It’s the same principal as a pipe bomb. But it isn’t a pipe bomb. It’s a tragic, unintended accident. And trying to use it to make some quasi political point is fucking sick. Someone should introduce this cvnt to the business end of a baseball bat. He’s earned it.

  6. Here’s a fun question for you. Which group of people is so obsessed with enforcing regressive gender stereotypes…

Truth be told, the answer is LGBT+ people.

Denying reality is as regressive as it gets.

  7. @tomo

Maybe he-she will reap some Labour RoP votes !
Lib Dems defend candidate’s tweet calling Israel leaders ‘psychopaths’

    @bis

+1 accidents/mistakes happen, that’s how we learn not to repeat

Think back to when very young:

Mummy: “bis, don’t touch the iron, it will burn you.”

bis: thinks what is “burn”? why does it not burn mummy?

bis: touches shiny metal with finger tip — “I know what burn means now”

  8. Wonder how many candidates have stepped down over old comments already, seems like at least 1 a day so far, good to see that it’s been used against the left as well, have to be careful about throwing that first stone it seems

  9. It’s a tragic, unintended accident. And trying to use it to make some quasi political point is fucking sick

There’s no pile of corpses too high to climb onto to plant your flag, if you believe your cause is righteous enough.
