Silly question but why are we not seeing this increasing trend in atmospheric levels of CO2?
Tim, I came across an old post of yours from August 2005 in which you were considering buying 2-year put options on crude oil at $40/bbl. Did you?
Tim adds: No….fortunately.
It would have been worse if you had bought futures (although in fairness you did say that you wouldn’t do that as you could lose the house).
Or sold futures, you know what I mean.
Tim adds: Indeed. Futures and the writing of options are really not things for the private investor.
