Andy November 30, 2007 at 3:49 pm I recall (not personally) that in the mid 19th century it was predicted that if the growth of horse and carriage transport continued at the same pace London would soon be knee deep in horse manure………..and then somebody (who was it, now) invented the motor car. Andrew Zalotocky November 30, 2007 at 4:32 pm Once solar becomes the dominant power source it is unlikely to ever be supplanted by anything else. It is hard to imagine any resource that will be cheaper to exploit than energy that is delivered free to your collection devices, all day every day. We’ve had the Steam Age and we’re in the Oil Age. Once the Age of Sunlight begins, it should last for hundreds of years. Philip Thomas December 1, 2007 at 1:05 pm Andrew, I agree. I think that once solar is established then fusion will be the only contender (when it arrives). Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
