Observer Watch

I\’ve heard of the Windy City but that\’s in the US isn\’t it?

Last week, Villiers-le-Bel was just another breeze block in the concrete townscape north of Paris.

  1. Maybe it’s another one of those Paris wonderlands where all the furniture is made of built-in concrete, so the occupants can’t steal it.

  2. Chicago is called “The Windy City” because of
da breeze (debris) in the streets.

I committed that crime over 60 years ago: my first but not my last.
