  2. So the traditional Christian view of remaining celibate before marraige has some merit in a scientific context other than the obvious to do with STD transfer? Who da thunk it?

    A curious observation but not entirely without merit – I wonder what will happen when the male pill becomes common place? A rise in domestic violence rates perhaps?

Actually, this isn’t *new* news, but a couple of years old, and applies only to sexual attraction, which for most people (well, women anyway – can’t speak for the other half) isn’t the only factor that keeps marriages together. Also, don’t the majority of divorces take place after children have already been born? Presumably most women would then be back on the Pill, unless they’re Catholic or masochists.
