When Viv Stanshall was at Oldfield’s place, recording his into voiceover for Tubular Bells, there was an evening when he got completely rat-*rsed. Oldfield followed him round the house with a tape recorder running all the while, and the results ended up as a track on one of the albums. Can’t remember which one.

Viv Stanshall was the ‘Master of Ceremonies’ at the end of side 1 of Tubular Bells, introducing the various instruments that Mike was playing.
