I’m certainly not protected by armed police.
I feel more threatened by them when I see them as well. What if they mistake my umbrella for a shot gun or think I look suspicious?
The right to bear arms was removed in this country in the 20s when the government was scared of revolution. It was to protect itself, not the people.
Well, except it would imply nuclear weapons should be legalised for personal use.
