Samir Shah, the former head of current affairs, said previous BBC efforts to employ black and Asian managers had been "dire".
I assume he means that those black and Asian managers hired had been dire? Bit of an odd thing to say when you\’re an Asian manager who has been booted upstairs isn\’t it?
*I assume he means that those black and Asian managers hired had been dire?*
Why? It’s perfectly clear that it is the efforts of the BBC that he thinks were dire not the Black and Asian managers. Why on earth would you choose to interpret it to mean something else?!
Tim adds: Because I’m in a foul mood.
If they’d been dire managers, they’d have thrived at the beeb.
