That\’s The System All Over

José Javier Pomés Ruiz, a Spanish EPP member, led the attack. “Coming along and saying ‘publish’ when you have not been involved in the process, I do not think that is 100 per cent honest,” he told Mr Davies. “If you look at the headlines and look at the report, there are great differences. Passing information to the press is a misuse of information and a misuse of parliamentary obligations.”

Letting the plebs know what we\’re doing is a misuse of information and a misuse of parliamentary obligations.

What else do you need to know about the EU.

  1. “Passing information to the press is a misuse of information ”

Unless, of course, it is the right people passing the right kind of information. In which case it is a vital component of the means with which the EU can “connect” with its citizens.

And it goes without saying that we can’t leave it to the uninformed to decide who the right people are and what the right kind of information is. That would be very dangerous.

    String ’em up.

  2. All due respect to your proposed candidature but do you honestly think this lot can be changed at any less than the point of a gun? Trouble is, I don’t much fancy what follows that course either.
