It is well known that smokers tend to subsidize non-smokers because the former pay so much in taxes and die before they can collect their due in social security and Medicare benefits.

  1. The nastiest consequence of the ban on smoking in pubs is its dreadful effect on pub beer gardens. Whereas before, the smokers were shreiking and polluting indoors, last summer they moved outdoors, disturbing the civilised folk.

  2. Smokers take up space that would be better occupied by people who didn’t need such drugs.
    They induce others to smoke.
    They demand all sorts of accommodating from society. The even smoke near the children. Now that must mean you are in the wrong.
    What about th children.
