Iuclid 5 is the software that you\’ve got to use to register chemicals under the REACH legislation.

I\’ve just been told by the heldesk that it\’s "a bit of a dog really".

Great, every import into the EU of a chemical (yes, even something as uncontroversial as Cu or Fe) has to be registered using this abortion of a piece of software.

Can we leave yet?

Could have been worse. You could have had to use Lotus Notes.

  2. It looks like the site can take an XML feed, so it’s possible for someone to build some better software to replace it.

How many people have to use this thing?
