Polly Today

Why is everyone picking on me?

Her argument is that it is unfair to pick on those who are privileged who express concern for those who are not, the denigration as class traitors of those who have attempting to change the system so as to benefit those who have not.

Which is an entirely fair point.

I can only offer my own reason for my obsession with Polly and her plans. That just about everything she proposes will not make the have nots better off, rather, it will confirm them in their dependency upon the handouts from the State and fossilise the divide.

  1. She’s humourless, ignorant and stupid AND we envy her her house in Tuscany. There you are: balanced criticism.

  2. “the denigration as class traitors of those who have attempting to change the system so as to benefit those who have not”

I do not think that has ever been the accusation. The concept of being a “class traitor” is very uncommon in the middle and upper classes. It’s frankly barking to require loyalty to “class”.

I think the accusation is more along the lines of being a screaming great phony who would entrench herself at the heart of a smug political elite at the long term expenses of the “have nots”.

    Or something like that.

  3. She is dishonest, whether she is aware of it or not. Folk can see through that, and that’s why they despise her.

Her concern for the “have nots” is rather fraudulent. Like most lefties, she wants to lock them down them under her “protection”, by giving them other people’s money. The great advantage of a system like that, is you can capture generations of have-nots, and keep them compliant, dependant, and helpless. This is how you hang on to political power. The same methodology works rather well for keeping people hooked on narcotics.
