Mr Schultz, chief executive of troubled coffee store giant Starbucks, had earlier told television business network CNBC, that "the concern for us is Western Europe and specifically the UK. The UK is in a spiral".
Asked later about the comments, a clearly furious Lord Mandelson responded to the Telegraph: "Why should I have that guy running down the country? Who the —- is he?"
Who is he? How about an individual exercising his right to free speech?
Good enough for you?
“Who’s he?”: Lord Fondlebum of Bois.
“He’s someone who’s managed to create a world-wide brand out of a single coffee shop and has had a real job that didn’t depend on the schmoozing of Russian oligarchs or corrupt mortgage dealings.” : http://obotheclown.blogspot.com/2009/02/hissy-fit.html
All I can say is OUCH!
…….”Why should I have that guy running down the country……
Too true, Gordon is doing a far better job of running the country into the ground then any mere entrepreneur could manage.
Lord Mortgagefraud of Hardlypull is pushing his luck.
Given that all the economic data shows the Eurozone performing worse than the UK, not to mention the UK’s lower public debt and lower unemployment rate than most developed economies, Mandy has a point.
Quite why so many ignorant fucks want to talk our economy down is less clear…
Mandelson?
Who the **** is he?
Why do we have him running the country?
Who elected him?
JohnB: the UK’s lower public debt?
