I have a couple of books on my shelves published by the Charles H. Kerr Publishing Company of Chicago. Their slogan is ‘Publishers of Anti-Establishment Literature Since 1886.’ I can’t avoid the feeling that they somehow think that 123 years of failure is a success story. (For the rest of us, of course, it is.)
