Sir, Your editorial “Brown’s vestigial authority on wane” (June 4) attributes the prime minister’s difficulties to his “coronation” and events since then.
May I suggest a more long-standing cause – that he is simply not officer material?
Well, opinion might be divided as to whether he is a gentleman but he\’s certainly proven himself incapable of running a Gentlemans\’ Club.
