Starvation in the NHS

A STAGGERING 250 people are dying of starvation a year in British hospitals

Don\’t forget, that\’s not the ones they\’re deliberately starving to death on the Liverpool Pathway, this is the ones they\’re not trying to kill.

  1. Doesn’t surprise me at all.

Both of my parents have passed away now, and in recent years spent quite a lot of time in hospital. In both cases I went in every day to feed them at lunchtime, and my sister did the honours at suppertime. And we both ended up helping feed other patients on the ward, every day. Without that they would have gone hungry, with their food just out of reach. Often their water jug would also be out of their reach.
Should be a law against it…
