Almost as good as the bus drivers\’ strike here in Portugal a few years back. Changes in the drink driving laws would have meant they could not have a glass of wine with their lunch. Thus the strike.

More to the point…Hands up all those who actually believes ANY of the measures put forward by the Bail -out Boys in Brussels will: A.) work & B.) have a snowballs chance of being implimented anyway? Anyone, anyone at all?
Was there a particular problem with Portuguese bus drivers crashing after lunch, or was it simply another rule for the sake of it.
It’s quite possible that Portuguese people who do not have a glass of wine with lunch turn into giraffes. I don’t think it has ever been tested, has it?
