Don’t get this guy ( a perfesser of Economics at Harvard !!): he argues that well-paid tenured academics get the benefits of rent control while at the same time having their salaries reduced.
Better surely the free market where rents and house prices inflate without control and the academic staff have nowhere to live whatsoever.
There that’s sorted. (Ever thought that all the free markets do ,sans a Land value Tax, is put up property prices faster than productivity?)
