Real, complete, government lunacy. previousChuka\’s great new ideanextAn interesting point about Fukushima 2 thoughts on “Timmy elsewhere” Roue le Jour March 19, 2011 at 9:33 am I’m pretty sanguine about government lunacy on the basis that birds fly, fishes swim and governments screw up. I try remain stoic in the face of injury, however the notion that governments are composed of chaps brighter than me when all the evidence is rather to the contrary is an insult too far. Captain Fatty March 19, 2011 at 10:40 am Now I’m confused. I can buy land without planning permission cheaply and apply for planning permission. This planning permission, according to some .gov websites, is in the region of 3 or 4 grand. Of course, I may never be granted permission to build. However, land for sale which already has planning permission is so expensive I can’t possibly afford to buy it and then build. To my mind then it is the cost of land which, when kissed with the magic of planning permission, becomes inordinately expensive. The planning permission itself is cheap… does this make sense or have I made an arse of myself (again)? Cheers, Fatty Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
