I’ve been saying this for ages. I’m a smoker, a pack of 25s is up to $A18 now. I’ve more than paid my way, even without taking into account the pension and old age medical costs I most likely won’t be claiming. If it was medical insurance everyone would be after them for price gouging and windfall profits. But of course that never applies to the guvmint.
