Whatever you think about solar power the fact that it is now grid comparable means we should abolish all subsidies for it.

  1. Don’t think quantitative easing in Euroland was quite what you were intending to draw our attention to, there.

  2. Whenever you give any class a subsidy, it is very hard to take it away from them again. The subsidised state becomes the default (or datum) and thus removing the subsidy becomes psychologically a cut, and discrimination against its recipients. The only way out of this is to never subsidise anything.
