Seems Ed Davey still doesn’t grasp how a cap and trade system works. previousNew Zealand wants to do fucking what?nextRitchie, the economic genius 5 thoughts on “Timmy elsewhere” BraveFart July 17, 2014 at 11:24 am I’d be surprised if Ed Davey was able to grasp anything at all, beyond his mummy’s teat. He fell out of the stupid tree hitting every branch on the way down. ProgContra July 17, 2014 at 2:32 pm He is without doubt one of the least attractive and least able members of the government by some considerable distance. Where his predecessor was a devious liar, Davey is simply too stupid to grasp anything of significance. Sure, he can just about hang on to the basics of the dogma, but scratch the surface and he’s an empty vessel. Doesn’t stop him pontificating about ‘deniers’ and the like though. When Tim says ‘string the lot of them up,’ I like to think that Davey would high on the list to go first. Either that or recycle him in an environmentally friendly manner. Ljh July 17, 2014 at 2:39 pm I still think that carbontrading is the modern equivalent of selling indulgences as a get out of purgatory quick scam. Arnald July 18, 2014 at 8:30 pm Tim Worstall Do you think as Ljh does? I still think that carbontrading is the modern equivalent of selling indulgences as a get out of purgatory quick scam. Worstall, why do you leave this sort of post without some sort of response? After all, it is counter to your published material. Is it because you couldn’t give a toss? Tim Worstall July 19, 2014 at 6:32 am Because it’s his opinion and he’s entitled to it. As you point out, my own opinion on the matter is already well known.
