So, do I believe?

That some American billionaire might have some under age totty following him about which he “abuses” because they’re under the age of 18?

Sure, I believe that that can and does happen. I’d be astonished if it didn’t in fact, althogh setting the bar for abuse at 18 seems a little high for me. 14, 15, 16, maybe, as an age of consent, but 18 does sound a little patriarchal.

Do I go on to believe that this is then part of a pimping operation where Princes and Prime Ministers, senior lawyers and the rest are cheaperoned into these 17 year olds by the daughter of a disgraced and bankrupt former billionaire (the only one of this cast I’ve actually met just BTW)?

No, no, I really don’t think I do.

I don’t say categorically that it could not or did not happen. But jeez, there’s enough young women out there on the game that an organisation like this most surely isn’t necessary is it? Something so dangerous?

But, but, but it is sexist not to believe every single mentally disturbed woman! Shame on you TW!

We did not stop this witch hunt when it only affected childcare workers. We did not stop it when it turned on the Catholic Church. Now it is attacking people at the very top of society. And frankly I no longer care if Prince Andrew gets 25 years or not. There was a time to nip this in the bud. This is not it. It is not fair to let poor White males go to jail but not rich White males.

But that is pretty much what will happen.

  2. Unless the rumours about everything being secretly recorded by hidden camera are true, it is hard to see how the truth can emerge. The idea that the powerful and wealthy and connected might be captured on video for blackmail purposes would actually make more sense than someone simply “insourcing” their prostitution operational requirements, which sounds a bit odd to me in terms of it carrying unnecessarily high legal risk for no obvious advantage. But if it was a blackmail operation it doesn’t seem to be a terribly successful one.

“Why would anyone who could hire a stunning professional willing participant for what would be small change to them, seek out a civilian who is plain and not willing?”

    Power trip?

  4. I can’t remember the exact details but wasn’t Andrew snapped at an Epstein party somewhere exotic (Thailand?) surrounded by nubile undressed young ladies? There does seem to be a lot of evidence that some sort of high class debauchery was part of the billionaire lifestyle. Whether it crossed the line of legality (as Tim says, being in the jurisdiction of Florida doesn’t help), how the thing was organised, and quite whom was invited to partake, I’m sure more will come out of the woodwork. But it took a foolish, foolish prince to get associated with any of this in the first place. To stay in contact, quite publicly, after the conviction, was particularly stupid for a man who is supposed to have been trained as an “emergency reserve” monarch.

Incidentally the Palace statement is worded absolutely ridiculously. “It is emphatically denied that HRH The Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts. The allegations made are false and without any foundation.” Denying “sexual contact” or a “relationship” leaves a lot of wiggle room. Sounds far too much like “I did not have sexual relations” for my liking. It seems as if it has been deliberately phrased to allow for the possibility of those slightly dodgy massages the Daily Mail has alleged in the past.

That’s any random bar in Thailand then, for various values of “young” “nubile” “undressed” and, now I think about it, “ladies”.

MyBurningEars – “Unless the rumours about everything being secretly recorded by hidden camera are true, it is hard to see how the truth can emerge.”

I disagree. The truth will probably emerge rather quickly. Especially as she is only alleging a token violation of the age of consent laws. She was not beaten, tricked, forced, made to take drugs, nothing. She was asked nicely, she says, to give Epstein a hand job and she did. Big frickin’ deal.

“The idea that the powerful and wealthy and connected might be captured on video for blackmail purposes”

That would make sense of Andy was powerful, wealthy or connected. He is a border-line retard with very limited career options. If he hung around with people like Epstein it is because they are such snobs. No more.

MyBurningEars – “I can’t remember the exact details but wasn’t Andrew snapped at an Epstein party somewhere exotic (Thailand?) surrounded by nubile undressed young ladies?”

Has anyone but me, who has been somewhere exotic, NOT have pictures of themselves surrounded by nubile young ladies in various states of undress?

“There does seem to be a lot of evidence that some sort of high class debauchery was part of the billionaire lifestyle.”

It sounds more boring than debauched. But so what? Just as that American Apparel guy seems to have been screwed over by this hysteria, perhaps Andrew will pay for being a sexually active male. But it is hard to see what he has done wrong.

“But it took a foolish, foolish prince to get associated with any of this in the first place.”

You have been following Andrew’s career haven’t you?

“Denying “sexual contact” or a “relationship” leaves a lot of wiggle room. Sounds far too much like “I did not have sexual relations” for my liking. Sorry but what? How is there any wriggle room there? You want them to list every possible sexual act by name? The Palace denies that Prince Andrew, three transvestites, a Romanian hooker and Billie Jean King did not have anal sex with a three-year-old Sumatran Elephant on July 4th last year?

  7. This is just another variation of Lyndon Johnson’s ‘No, I have no evidence he fucks pigs, I just want to hear the son of a bitch deny it!’, isn’t it?

  8. It’s probably foolishness. A lot of British people probably have no idea that the age of consent in Florida is 18. Some 17 year old offers you some jollies, you think “excellent”, ignorant of the law.

  9. SMFS: Why have you left off your list Savile and the old men set to die in jail on accusations with no more substance than those against the Windsor boy?

The femmi-commisars are pushing for the “climatic” stage of the game–where their horseshit dog and pony show gets into the halls of power and they can start to bring down the powerful. And hope to replace them with power-hags who will put some real heavy shit on anything with a penis. More than they already have. The Westwank gang are trying to fight a half-hearted rearguard action with the floating” chairmanship” of the enquiry caper but most of them don’t realise that the male=paedo/general sex crim bandwagon they have been on for 40 years is about to bite them on the arse. They are to be Savilised and they will have to show the wisdom of serpents to duck what is coming at them. Since most of the SW1A clowns can’t even spell wisdom….

  10. BiND.As power trips go, I would say it shows a serious lack of ambition, not something billionaires are noted for.

  11. The way I read the story, the age of consent in Florida is absolutely irrelevant to her allegations against Prince Andrew.

Because she wasn’t in Florida during the alleged royal shaggening.

The Guardian says her allegations relate to “London, New York and on a private Caribbean island”.

Apparently she claims she was 17 at the time.

It’s perfectly legal to have sex with 17 year olds in London and New York, unless she’s crying rape. And so far, she hasn’t accused him of rape.

The Caribbean island is a bit trickier as the age of consent there is 18. Though she also says these events took place between 1999 and 2002, so she may well have been 18 at the time she says she was in the US Virgin Islands.

    According to The Mirror:

She further claims she was sex-trafficked to “many other powerful men, including numerous prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, foreign presidents, a well known Prime Minister, and other world leaders

Uh huh. She’s like catnip to the most powerful men in the world. They just couldn’t resist her underaged sex slave charms.

Can’t be long till she implicates the Pope, the Queen, and those reptilian shapeshifters from Alpha Centauri David Icke warned us about.

  12. I wonder how one is ‘sex trafficked’? It brings to mind being bound hand and foot in the bowels of a dirty Iranian freighter. But here it seems more likely it was First Class on a 777. Perhaps with boarding pass flagged Gold Plus Sex Traffickee.

  13. bloke (not) in spain

    Blast.
I actually made a point of not reading the Randy Andy story. And now I’ve been tempted to.
I like this from the Telegraph:
“allegedly supplied to him by friend and convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. ”
    Ooooo!
Debaucher of little boys? Collector of kiddie porn?
    Well no.
Because ” Epstein was jailed for 18 months after pleading guilty to one state charge of soliciting prostitution.”
So he was done for facilitating an “illegal” transaction. Although whether the transaction itself was illegal would presumably depend on the vagaries of US state laws. But it’s a “commercial” offence. he’s no more guilty of a “sex crime” than I am.
    Which brings us to:
MBO – “…someone simply “insourcing” their prostitution operational requirements, which sounds a bit odd to me in terms of it carrying unnecessarily high legal risk for no obvious advantage.”
Ah, well. Now there’s something about the rich & powerful (for quite small values of R & P) when it comes to hooking up with hookers. You see they’re very accustomed to the P the R gives them in all of life’s daily transactions. They’re always playing from an advantage. And then they go into a world where the R counts but their P ain’t worth a damn. It’s all strange territory where they’re out of their depth. What they want is the illusion: I’m in need of a bit of of nookie & there’s this devastating attractive woman who, despite we’ve never actually met, has developed a raging passion to come over & give me some. Like restauranteurs are always glad of their company & nothing to do with expensive meals. Puts the transaction back on a level they can deal with.
So they get people to do it for them. And yes, you can get the dirty on all sorts of people. But they think you’re their friend. Like they see the restauranteur as a friend. People with R&P have lots of friends.

Can’t be long till she implicates the Pope, the Queen, and those reptilian shapeshifters from Alpha Centauri David Icke warned us about.

I interviewed David Icke in 1996 for a local paper and he described how Dick Cheney and other 43rd level masons used US military reservations to hunt the orphan children of dead MK Ultra subjects. Once caught these adolescents were raped and murdered. Just sayin…

  15. @ SMFS
“Has anyone but me, who has been somewhere exotic, NOT have pictures of themselves surrounded by nubile young ladies in various states of undress?”
    Me, for one.
Maybe it’s because I’m boring, maybe it was because it was -30-odd.

  16. There’s a photo of me with one arm around Jane Asher and the other around Joanna Lumley, back in my theatre days. I’m very fond of that one.

  17. So Much for Subtlety

dearieme – “and, remarkably, one who proved capable of flying a helicopter.”

Yeah but has the Palace denied reports that he didn’t fly helicopters yet?

Mr Ecks – “Why have you left off your list Savile and the old men set to die in jail on accusations with no more substance than those against the Windsor boy?”

Because they started out with Day Care Workers and have worked their way up the social ladder. Savile is definitely lower, socially, than Andy. And perhaps even the assorted MPs who formed that Satanic coven.

I note, in passing, that not all sex offenses are equal. Compare the coverage Prince Andrew is getting with this:

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2014/11/20/kiah-lawson-terry-bean-human-rights-campaign-gay-sex-obama-prison-column/70021560/

    Perfect, SMFS!

  19. Some women find wealth and power attractive (Hugh Hefner and Bernie Ecclestone as examples of aging rich people doing OK in the sleeping with models stakes) and I’ve always thought “Hello, I’m a Prince” would be a decent chat-up line at many parties. This being so I’ve always thought there wouldn’t be a problem attracting sufficient tottie of the legal sort if you were lucky enough to be in that position. Even if your preferences tended toward younger girls, I once had a house mate who was 22 yet looked about 14. There are plenty such girls around, some no doubt willing and able to party.

So I’ve always wondered why people with a lot to lose would go out of their way to seek situations which could land them in prison when they probably have enough on their hands (and in their laps) as it is.

If I ever win the lottery jackpot I’ll let you know if it changes things.

  20. Having been to numerous RN “cock and arse” parties, “I am pilot” seemed to be more than sufficient for the totty of various ages.

Mind you, I also once attended the Capt’s Table for two junior officers who had trapped big style in Florida, and the girlies turned out to be underage Florida law.

There was no police complaint, just a letter to the Capt from one of the fathers pointing out the error of their ways (I have no idea what the AoC was in the young ladies’ home state.) As the ship was back in UK by the time this was received (and they were legal UK style), they pleaded guilty and, as far as I saw*, just received the usual massively unfair punishments that were traditionally doled out to junior officers who transgressed.

    * There may have been letters sent which may have debarred them from certain sensitive posts.

  21. Having been to numerous RN “cock and arse” parties, “I am pilot” seemed to be more than sufficient for the totty of various ages.

Mate of mine flew Apaches for the AAC, two tours of Afghanistan. He said he gave up on the “I fly Apaches” chat-up lines because nobody believed them, so he switched to “I’m an accountant”. Believing him loaded, it worked better.

  22. That’s because the Army don’t believe in cocktail parties. I haven’t attended a proper C’n’A for years.

However, at one memorable one, I did point out to the girls that the little wing-y badges made it easier to spot who was lying about being aircrew.

    Anyway, service pilots are “loaded”.

  23. I liked sharp suited character Patrick Bateman’s explanation of his city job in “American Psycho”

“I work in murders and executions.”

which the ditsy model he’s chatting up mishears with unfortunate consequences…

  24. @ SE
Service pilots used not to be “loaded” until they retired and started to work for BOAC. I knew one when I was younger (his wife was a friend of the family, went to school with big sister) and he was comfortable but far from loaded. Really nice guy, also better cook than I – guys who left school to join the RAF during WWII didn’t worry about snide remarks about their ability to cook.
