PaulB January 3, 2015 at 2:56 pm The $5k is just gross carbon tax revenue divided by reduction in carbon dioxide emissions over the revenue period. I’m not sure that that’s a meaningful number, and assuming the government didn’t just burn the money (which they couldn’t, think of the emissions) it’s not simply a cost.
