My word this is a terrible surprise, isn’t it?

Hillary Clinton wiped her email server “clean,” permanently deleting all emails from it, the Republican chairman of a House of Representatives committee investigating the deadly 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, has said.

Just such, such a surprise.

  1. Weapons-grade grub like her husband, they were made for each other. Bit of collateral damage on the way to the White House is unavoidable.

  2. Which was the only point in having it in the first place, so that she could destroy any evidence of wrong doing, incompetence and bad decision-making.

    What a devious cunt. 🙂

  3. If she was truly devious they wouldn’t have found her out would they?.

You are right about the other bit tho’.

  4. Mr Ecks,

I think being devious is an aspect of one’s nature, you don’t have to be good at it just have the intent to be devious.

  5. I’m surprised and simultaneously impressed she had the technical nous to have her own email server.

  6. It was an amateurish setup and the Congressional committee could take possession of her sever and its backups and likely recover the emails. But it won’t.

  7. There is literally nothing the American Left will not forgive when it comes to the Clintons. British celebrities are serving time for the same thing Clinton did to women. In America though he managed to remain a feminist whilst simultaneously at least one complainant was dismissed as ‘trailer trash’.

  8. Dunno what the law in America is but here if you are running a business (but probably not running the country) they will fine you to death, shut you down, and for good measure prosecute you for destroying evidence if you do that (with the directors having their limitation of personal liability removed along the way).

  9. So, can’t they do that hard drive forensics thing that they deploy to extract deleted illegal content? I bet she hasn’t done the ten-pass deep clean whatever thing.

  10. So Much for Subtlety

Her first line of defence was that she was too technically incompetent to use two phones at the same time. But she is technically competent enough to set up her own private server, and wipe it clean afterwards so no one can recover her e-mails?

This will not cost her anything. She won’t go to jail for it. She won’t be fined. She will still be the Democrat candidate. She may even end up President. The media will cover for her.

Someone set up a system to delete records so that they could not be retrieved a few years ago. I remember this because the news item said that the first client was a law firm in Little Rock, Arkansas.

john77 – “She has lackeys with technical expertise”

And, it is worth remembering, a law degree. She cannot claim ignorance of the law. Malice must be presumed.

So I look forward to said lackeys, facing jail time for contempt of Congress, explaining exactly who told them to do what and when.

dearieme – “Not often that you see “clean” and “Clinton” in the same sentence.”

I don’t know. I could see Bill explaining how to avoid HIV the same way that Jacob Zuma did.

Not if they all tell the same lie.

What can they say? They have a choice of “I broke the law all on my own” or “The Witch made me”. What else can they say? They slipped and hit the delete button?

One of those means they face the Wrath of the Clintons. The other means they may face the risk of gang rape in the prison showers.

It will be a tough choice.
